The 2004 Jeep Renegade is a great looking vehicle from the inside of its interior to the outside of the body. The paint still looks good 11 years later and shines like it did when I purchased it. It is what you would expect of a finely crafted Jeep made vehicle. It is a very roomy SUV, seating 5 comfortably. If you need extra storage the seat folds down a ways in the back to fit things as needed. My two favorite parts of the vehicle are the KC lights on top of the vehicle and its heavy duty off road 4x4 feature for those times when you need it.
Story
One great memory I have in my Jeep Liberty was a deer slamming into the side of my Jeep. It was the beginning of Winter last year and there was a light fog. I was driving down the highway and a deer slammed into the driver's side of the vehicle. Everyone was okay and the deer limped away from the scene. When I got the chance to pull over down the road to check out the damage, to my surprise th... (more)
Pros
The pros of the 2004 Jeep Liberty is its ability to not only be a street vehicle, but its ability to go off-road with the 4x4 functionality. Its great in the winter months to get around with out the use of tire chains. Another feature I like is the KC lights on top for those nights you needed some extra light and they look great too. Another great feature is the fold down seat in the back. In the back you will also find another 12v auxiliary power outlet in the back for those times you need to power up a phone or extra powered device in the back. The back window also opens above the back ... (more)
Cons
The negative things about the 2004 Jeep Liberty is the bumpy ride. It bounces around even on a nice flat street. It also is nice on road trips, but the seats are uncomfortable if you plan on sitting for long periods of time. It also has a great sized trunk but if you plan on taking a lot of items with you, it might not be large enough to store those extra purchases. Adding a cargo to the roof might not be a great option, but it does have this option. Another negative to owning the Liberty is its poor fuel economy. It gets about 15-17 in town miles and around 17-19 highway miles. This is p... (more)

My 2005 Jeep liberty Renegade has served me well. It handles great on highways and regular roads. The gas mileage is about average for a vehicle these days. The Renegade package adds a distinct overall look to the vehicle with the studded looking fenders and bars. With regular maintenance the vehicle has held up well under regular driving conditions.
Story
Driving this vehicle is always memorable. It's a pleasure to drive around town or on the highway.
Pros
The 4 wheel drive is a must here in the winter and it works great. The V6 3.6L engine that comes with the Renegade package packs quite a punch but isn't overpowering. The overall look of the vehicle really stands out in a crowd.
Cons
Sunroof drains. If you live in an area where you may experience a lot of debris on top of your vehicle (dirt, dust, pollen) the drains can get clogged up after awhile and leave a mess of water in the foot areas. The tire pressure sensor monitors also wear out and are expensive to replace.
