The Jeep Liberty has been one of the best cars I have ever owned. I have had the car for 3 years now and it still looks brand new. From the inside out the car is great. I love the black interior of the car, though it does get really hot in the summer. But that is why I love having a great AC in the car. Even with over 40,000 miles on the car is still runs smoothly. There really is not a lot of thinks that I dislike about the car. The car runs great and it has plenty of room for me when I drive. One of my only dislike would be the amount of room for people in the back. There sometimes is not a lot of leg room for my taller friends. I have not had any issues with the car until recently. I had to get something fix on the car but it was nothing major. The stereo system is wonderful! I love... (more)
Story
Going on mini adventures with my friends. We are always trying to find new places to go around town. And we usually use my car. It would go to different shops or restaurants around town. Those are the best times, just driving around with my friends.
Pros
The top thing I love about this car is that it still looks brand new. After three years it is still in great condition. It runs great. There is not rattling, no weird shaking of the car while I drive. From the inside out the car is great. One of my favorite features of the car would be the radio. I listen to music all the time and the system is wonderful. I have clear, crisp, local music. And even when I play CDs or use an aux cord the quality of sound is perfect. The seats in the car are extremely comfortable. They are soft and do not hurt seating in even after a long car ride. The car ov... (more)
Cons
There are really not too many negative things I can say about the car. Only a few negative things come to mind and they are really not that major. One would be the space in the back seat. There is not a whole lot of room for people to sit, especially if I have three people back there. Even though I like to go driving around with my friends, it is not great for taking long road trips with a full car. A few people in the car is find we have enough room. But I have had some friends say that the back seat can be a little cramped. I sometimes wished that the car would have more miles to the gal... (more)

The Jeep Liberty provides adequate room for a family of four who like to travel and attend various trips. With two growing boys, the Jeep provided opportunities to camp, provided safety in the winter months due to 4WD options. We were able to travel with friends and our growing boys in this vehicle. It gets low mileage and has had a few issues that are big, but that mainly means it is time for a new vehicle at 177,000 miles.
Story
We enjoyed a trip to Acadia National Park in this vehicle and were brought lots of peace by our travels to hiking spots and sunsets around the park.
Pros
Having a Jeep has made me a little less concerned about soccer balls being thrown in the back of the car. We are able to comfortably take five people places. The Jeep is good in snow. Our family has used this Jeep for many travels, putting on about 30,000 miles per year or more with few maintenance issues until recently.
Cons
The Jeep Liberty only gets about 19 mpg which isn't great in an economy where fuel prices have been all over the place. The Jeep has more recently lost heat, and after changing the temperature gauge and radiator, it appears that the heater core has gone bad too. The head gaskets have also gone bad at about 177,000 miles making it time to purchase a new vehicle in the very near future. Though the trunk looks roomy, it doesn't fit anymore than my previous vehicle, a Subaru Legacy. Changing a tire on this vehicle was also not easy as the equipment provided did not allow for raising the car to... (more)
