I have always loved owning Jeep Wranglers. My first vehicle was a 1995 Jeep Wrangler. I fell in love with that one the second I laid my eyes on it. I had to buy the one I have right now because I love Jeep brand vehicles. My favorite part is the removable doors. Every part of the Jeep can be removed and replaced as well. All you need is one wrench for it. I added side rails (the things you step on to get in the vehicle) because I am short and its hard to get in something that is up off the ground. They were made by Mopar and made very good. I then bought a new bumper and immediately added a winch to the Jeep. A Jeep is not complete without one. The Jeep I have already came with a lift kit. It runs amazingly off-road. There was also a snorkel on the jeep for the exhaust. I have had the ... (more)
Story
I love to take my Jeep to the beach and spend hours on end out there. We even camp out in our Jeep. There is a tent attachment for the Jeep Wrangler you can purchase, and it makes your Jeep very useful for camping out in the woods or on the beach. For us (my wife and I) we camped out on the beach. It was one of our first dates and we loved it. Will never forget that night/weekend.
Pros
You can use one wrench to disassemble/reassemble the whole thing. You can have either a soft top or hard top. Mine came with the hard top but also came with a replacement soft top if I desired it. Looks great both from a distance and also close up. Easily up-gradable. Can go pretty much anywhere you would want to go both off road and on.
Cons
The hard top is very heavy and requires more than one person to remove it/put it back on. The gas mileage is not very good (about 14-18 mpg) most of the time. With the soft top its easily broken in to (so do not leave any valuables in car). Very pricey, so you better be ready to pay quite a bit of money for it! The zipper windows are a pain in the butt when it comes to certain conditions. It's extremely loud in the vehicle when going down the highway if you have a soft top on.

2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited - The Jeep JL: An American icon remains on top

My Jeep JL is the dream car that I've always wanted in life. I grew up watching Jurassic Park as a kid and have wanted a Jeep ever since. The Jeep JL is the Jeep that was basically in the book. The technology has finally caught up to what Michael Crichton envisioned over 25 years ago. It's spacious, it has great clearance and the four-door variant has plenty of storage for camping and other activities. I take it camping and off roading all the time, and my dog loves driving around town in the convertible. The Jeep is the most fun a car can be. An original Willy's may be more fun, but this won't kill you in a roller-over accident.
Story
I took this Jeep to the Great Sand Dunes National Park to see the stars and do a bit of off-roading.
Pros
It's durable and it goes places. The doors come off and so does the top. It is the most fun you can have in a car. Jeeps kill Nazis. What more could you possibly want? A Jeep is a dog that will never let you down and is incredibly loyal and fun. Nobody hates driving a Jeep and you can't beat the classic look.
Cons
Gas mileage still isn't the best, but it is reasonable for a large SUV. Some of the software hasn't been updated in a while. My phone constantly has Bluetooth connection issues, but that might be an issue with Android Auto and not the car itself. Going above 40 mph is scary, 65+ is terrifying.
