My Jeep Grand Cherokee 75th Anniversary Edition in Silver Billet w/ Monkey Bronze Accents is a beautiful to look at but looks can be deceiving. The popularity of Jeep has exploded to the point that the vehicles are way overpriced without the long term Blue Book value to support them. Perhaps, most importantly, there are several potential issues with the vehicle. First, the sleek styling has create a vehicle both too light and too narrow to adequately support comfortable seating in the 2nd row and enough storage in the back to align with the type of adventures both the brand and its drivers typically engage in. Second, the leather seats quickly wrinkle, especially on the driver side. I have seen this problem with every Jeep Grand Cherokee my friends and colleagues own. Last, but not lea... (more)
Story
Love putting my four-wheel drive vehicle to work in the mountains of Vermont, especially during the summer. My wife and I pack up the storage area and head for long hikes followed by opening up the panorama roof and gazing at the starts all night.
Pros
Top positive things: aesthetics continue to be a strong point for Jeep Grand Cherokees as the sleek styling and length is well proportioned to the eye, not to mention the incredible trim on the upgraded models including beautiful rims. The black on black, white on black, and silver billet monkey bronze options for the anniversary editions are second to none. The four-wheel drive and multi-mode options for various forms of difficult weather provide a sense of safety while in a comfortable vehicle. The tow hooks are beneficial if you need to pull someone out using the front tow hooks or brin... (more)
Cons
First, and foremost, the price. Not a lot of room for negotiation on these vehicles and I truly believe that I far overpaid relative to equal, if not better, performing alternatives. Jeep comes at a premium that isn't supported on the back end by strong blue book values. Quite the opposite actually. Second, the external noise is enormously distracting and frustrating. I've contacted national Jeep and brought my car into two local Jeep dealerships and all confirmed that the noise level is normal. Both dealerships stated this was a common complaint. Third, the leather seats quickly wear and ... (more)

This SUV has literally everything you can possibly need and makes driving so much more enjoyable. It is sturdy feeling inside and out with high quality leather and suede headliner. Driving this SUV gives you a sense of luxury with a hint of ruggedness. Just knowing that you can easily switch drive modes to combat any driving conditions is a huge bonus for me. The V8 engine is powerful, however, I believe there may be a defect in the transmission that causes it to feel a bit sluggish when switching from 2nd to 3rd gear. I will have the service department take a look at this at my next maintenance appointment. The heated/air conditioned seats are comfortable and have multiple adjustment modes to form to any body type. The touch screen radio is easy to maneuver and the steering wheel cont... (more)
Story
My husband had purchased one for himself in December and I drove his a few times and fell in love. I wasn't planning on purchasing a new vehicle, but when I took my old car in for a service, I spotted this one and instantly fell in love. I ended up buying it that day without telling my husband and ended up pulling into our driveway with my head out the window yelling "SURPRISE! I bought a new ... (more)
Pros
Easy and exact handling. Interior is high quality and sturdy. Good looking alloy wheels. Classy exterior trim. Automatic headlights. On point backup camera. Front and rear detection. Full panoramic sun/moon roof. Automatic wipers. Phenomenal audio sound. Abundance of airbags and additional safety features. Exit and entry hydraulic system. Powerful motor. Towing option. High quality Pirelli tires. Hands free parallel parking assist. LED headlight and taillights.
Cons
A little bit of a gas hog. Must use higher grade of fuel. Transmission feels a little rough between gears. Paint has a slight difference in color shade between trim and body. The paint in general seems to scratch and pit easily. Ride could be a bit smoother. Needs more interior storage space.
