2006 Jeep Wrangler - Great vehicle. It will take you anywhere!
This was a great vehicle. It had no perks, and even had manual windows but it would go literally anywhere. It was a standard and you could drop it in low gear and it would crawl over rocks, up hills, or through the mud without ever even touching the gas. It was Incredible!
Story
My husband and I took it down a seasonal road that we had traveled many times before. This was early spring and we did not realize that the woods had been logged throughout the winter. There were ruts and logs everywhere. To get over the first hump we flew over it and I swear we got a little air. It was incredible.
Pros
It never broke. It would go anywhere. You could drive it down the road or off the road. Since I love the outdoors this was a great vehicle. It was like having a 4-wheeler that was secure and you could drive down the road.
Cons
It was load driving down the road since the tires were so big. It also had a removable top that let air in and the heat wasn't great so it got very cold when driving fast.
2005 Jeep Wrangler - 05 Wrangler.
Jeep Wranglers are "the" Jeep to own. Anything else just isn't a Jeep. Which is why I've owned one for many years. From snow to sand to rain to floods, a Wrangler always has your back. You can take her through anything, no hole is too deep. There's literally nothing she can't do for you.
Story
Driving at night with the roof off and looking at the stars on a clear summer night.
Pros
Best things about this vehicle, hands down, is the versatility of it. Is it sunny out? You got a sunroof and the only car with no doors. Is there 7 feet of snow like there happens to be in Buffalo year after year? 4x4 will get you out of that mess without a scratch. In fact you'll be unburying Fords and Chevys.
Cons
Rust! It may be the fact that I live in the rust belt, but they are prone to rusting. If you live where there is no snow, and no salt to melt the snow, then buy one!
