The Volkswagen Tiguan is a great day-to-day vehicle. The specific car that I have was fitted with leather seats, an incredibly large sunroof, navigation and other comfortable features. It came with a year free of satellite radio which was a very nice touch. Around town the car feels very safe and is easy to maneuver. Because it is a small SUV it encompasses the best of both worlds. It is easy to park, yet it rides "high" enough on the road that you feel you are in command of the vehicle. The Tiguan felt equally safe and comfortable on the highway.
Story
Have always had a lot of fun taking a nice road trip.
Pros
I would say my favorite feature was the especially large sunroof. It genuinely takes up almost the entire roof! It is nice in both the summer and winter. I am also a big fan of the satellite radio. It came free for one year with the purchase of the car. It is nice to listen to music without commercials. Most of all, I like the size because it is easy to park in tight spots, but you feel more safe driving it than you would in a compact car.
Cons
There aren't too many negatives. I would say that with many luxury features such as the large sunroof, leather interior, navigation, stereo - it can make one nervous to park in an especially dangerous area.

I like my VW Tiguan. As a entry level SUV, it is good enough for daily use. It consumes more gas than Japanese SUVs like CRV or RAV. But it provide better driving experience. It is heavier than Japanese SUVs and more powerful.
Story
Yes, my wife and I drove it to Maine to celebrate 1 year of our first date.
Pros
1. It looks beautiful, much better than toy-like SUVs such as CRV or some others. 2. It is not a gas-saver, but compared with Jeep or Dodge SUVs. It uses much less gas. 3. Its price is not high. Totally, I spent around $24000, much less than Audi Q5. 4. I won't want to say, but it is a German car. 5. Large interior space, it is good for people in big size. The front seats are very comfortable.
Cons
1. The interior design is dull, if not ugly. 2. Sometimes, the door locks have some minor problems. 3. For its a German car, the maintenance cost may be higher than US cars. 4. In some bad road condition, the engine is not powerful enough. It is a little bit weak.
