The best car I've owned.
The MKX is luxury at its finest. It has a solid exterior that makes people stare. The doors have a nice heavy feel to them when you close them making the car feel strong. I have put 25,000 miles on my crossover and it still seems brand new. The interior is equally as exquisite as the outside. Keyless ignition is very fancy. My Lincoln touch is a great feature equipped with SiriusXM. All of the safety features are amazing as well including, blinder indicators, reverse camera, and brake assist. I’m not sure exactly how this feature works but it might be one of my favorites. Another feature I would consider on the side of safety is this mirror tint that somehow is only activated at night. It helps prevent glaring headlights striking my eyes when I drive at night. The leather seats are a sleek brown and the design overall is extremely elegant. Another feature I enjoy in it that reminds me of my youth is the interior LED mood lighting that is dimly lit when it is dark outside. It allows me to customize the interior lighting to my personality. Lastly, I really enjoy how spacious it is allowing me to fit my giant ice hockey equipment bag and sticks inside, no problem.

The 2014 Lincoln MKX is a great mid-sized SUV. The styling is attractive, and the Lincoln grill upfront is distinctive and helps to distinguish it from the similar Ford Edge. The version I bought has some great aftermarket rims and tires that add that certain pop to elevate the Lincoln above other SUVs. The interior finishes are classy and lean toward luxury. My riders always comment on the room in the back. There are plenty of cup holders and outlets for them. I am able to take three passengers and a dog in a large kennel without difficulty. I particularly like the panoramic sunroof and the cream and wood interior in my version. The ride is good, though the fancy tires do make the ride a little less plush then other SUVs. Handling and power are great, and I have no difficulty with passing or acceleration. The audio system is a bit quirky and defaults to the AM stations, which is a bit irritating. Also you cannot scroll through all your presets and have to push a button on the screen, which is a hassle. I have no difficulty using the voice activation system or my cell phone with the entertainment system. Navigation system is also voice activated, but I tend to use my phone anyway.
