Great Gas Mileage and Reliable
When I first bought this car, I had a daily commute of over 100 miles round trip. At the time I was driving a full size pickup truck and spending a fortune on gas. With this car, I went from getting 18-20 miles per gallon to over 30 mpg. I put 140,000 miles on it before needing any repairs and that was only to replace the spark plugs and brake pads. Besides routine maintenance, this car has not had any major problems. Even with the smaller engine, it is very sporty has good acceleration. It has great headroom which is a big plus for me as I am 6 feet 5 inches tall. I tried at least five different models before choosing the Mazda 3 and no economy/compact car had as much interior space for the driver as the Mazda 3. The only issues I have had with it are changing the head lamps is a huge pain as is changing the cabin air filter.

Good car overall
My Mazda 3 is a lot roomier inside than my previous car (VW Jetta). I don't feel cramped, whether I'm in the front or the back seat. The dash and console are lit in red and that is a unique feature that I like. I enjoy having the radio controls on the steering wheel for easy access. The outside temperature is listed on the dash and this is a new feature for me that I also like having. There is an auxiliary plug for iPods and iPhones too, which I use a lot. I get roughly 30 miles per gallon, which I consider pretty good. My vehicle has 168,000 miles on it and it should be able to handle quite a few more. Mechanically, I haven’t had many problems with the car, it has been very reliable. The trunk is quite roomy, as it accommodated some large boxes that were purchased at IKEA. I am a rather tall person, and we would not be able to get 2 rear facing car seats in this vehicle, which is somewhat of a disappointment. Overall this has been a great family car for us.

Awesome
The 2008 Mazda3 was the first new car that I ever owned. When I purchased the car, I was deciding between the Mazda3 and the Honda Civic. I am so happy that I chose the Mazda3 instead. I loved the sleek design, how the car handled, all of the available options, and the price point (under $20k). Overall everything seemed very well made and I have had few mechanical issues after 8 years of ownership. I am very happy with the car and would purchase another Mazda3 in the future.

They were knowledgeable about the car and offered a fair price relative to the Kelley Blue Book value of the car.
