The car is a work of art and feels like it is as solid as a rock. The trim is perfect. No mismatched edges or seams out of place. The doors close with a thud you expect from this expensive a car.
Title
I first drove the car on a dark night to get to work. I wok early in the morning and since I knew the weather was going to be bad I wanted to leave early so I left about 4:30 or so. I am driving along and there are tons of wooded areas around my neighborhood before you get to the highway. The car has headlights that move in the direction of the turn as well as night vision. I didn't really thi... (more)
Pros
Solid as a rock build quality. Electronics that are state of the art. Smoothest luxury drive available from a big luxury sedan. Perfect heads up display. Perfect adaptive cruise control that matches the vehicles speed in front.
Cons
Too many electronics especially considering it can get pretty difficult and time consuming to set the car up. For such a long car the trunk does lack a little. It should be bigger.

This is an amazing car. It's 20 years old, with 180,000 miles, and still looks like new. The paint still shines. It's the two-door coupe (very rare) at least around here, and I'm forever being stopped in parking lots by people asking about it. The interior has held up amazingly well also, no tears in the leather upholstery (I did have to replace the floor mats though). It drives like a dream and it has had few problems mechanically. And, talk about power, this car has a huge engine! It will move. That's not great for fuel economy, though. But when you buy a $90,000 car, you probably aren't worried too much about the price of gas. I've had to put less than $500 in it since 2010, mainly for windshield wiper blades and turn signal bulbs. If you can afford one, I would highly recommend get... (more)

I went slipping across some ice once, which is rare and unexpected where I live, but I was saved by the Benz when it felt the wheels not spinning in sync. It realized there was a problem, and its special suspension kicked in to save the day.
Pros
There are a lot of positives about this car, including the way it makes you feel when you drive it. The heated seats are fast heating and effective. The stereo system is top notch. The car is heavy and solid as a rock, and has tons of safety features in addition to multiple air bags.
Cons
The only negatives are that it's expensive to buy, expensive to keep gas in it because of the low mileage, and if you do have mechanical issues, it is expensive to repair.

I have always driven BMW's, but after having both bad experiences with service and sales folks at my local BMW dealer, I decided to take a look at Mercedes. First of all, the sales process was AMAZING, no hard sell, superior knowledge of the vehicles from the sales people, easy financing and delivery all within hours of arriving at the dealer. This included getting rid of my BMW 750li as a trade in. The car itself, is a dream to drive. It is so nice and roomy, handles well, has a very intuitive command system and has amazing power and performance.
Title
This car has leg extensions that can be adjusted forward for people with long legs on the front seats. I have very long legs and had been sitting in the passenger seat and had adjusted it fully out. My mother who is 5'1 then sat in the passenger seat with the leg extender out and her legs just stuck out straight. It took us a while to figure out why she kept complaining how uncomfortable th... Pros
The car for being really large has an amazing amount of pick-up. The seats are amazingly comfortable and super easy and intuitive to adjust. My kids love the entertainment system, which is very easy to operate. I also like that again despite it's large engine size and heavy weight, I get very good gas mileage.
Cons
My only negative is that my car did not come with heated steering wheel and rear seats...but really given all the positives of this car, these are not negatives.
