Fun but expensive car.
I have had this car for a little over two years and have loved it. The build quality is great for what it is. The quality of the mechanical parts not so much. I have had to do quite a bit of research on forums to know what I was getting myself into. The good thing about this car is that there are many after market parts, which you can supplement the crappy parts from BMW-mini. It's a fun car to drive and has a lot of power for its size. It handles great, especially in the curves. The Mini Cooper is by far the most fun car to drive, but a few draw backs is the maintenance and upkeep of it. It can get costly within the first year or so.

Fun and sporty
The little Mini Cooper S is a fun-to-drive little car. It's low ground clearance and tight steering make it easy to negotiate sharp curves. It is a peppy little engine with a fast zero-to-sixty time. It shifts smoothly through the gears in its manual transmission. The Mini Cooper S is roomy inside than one would think when looking at it from the outside. My husband and I were able to pack gear and clothes for a weekend camping trip. We were even able to take our 80-pound coonhound with us. The rear seats are comfortable with enough leg room for all except for the tallest individuals.
