2013 MINI Cooper - A fun little car to drive
I love driving my car. It's small enough that people usually always let me pull out into traffic ahead of them. This is the second MINI I have purchased. The MINI Cooper also comes with a built in community. I have made several friends through the community car club I joined. Other MINI drivers typically wave at me as I drive by. The interior has held up in the hot Florida heat. I have not experienced any cracks in the dash or seating even though I never us products on it to keep it in tip top shape. I have not experienced any electronic issues and I know I can rely on the car to perform as it should.
Story
My neighborhood has a lot of "twisty" roads. It's always fun to drive through the twisty roads a little fast.
Pros
The MINI Cooper has great fuel economy. I drive 30 minutes to work everyday and I only need to fill up once a week. I get about 32 miles to the gallon. The MINI is a fun car to drive. Corner handling is tight and smooth. It has a fast pick up. When I step on the gas the car goes even if I have the AC on full blast.
Cons
Getting in and out of the backseat can sometimes prove to be a challenge. Once you are seated in the back you have enough room, it's just difficult to get in and out of. I also wish there was a handy place to put my phone when I am trying to use the navigation feature on my phone. I didn't purchase an after market navigation system. I also wish the radio displayed the song that was playing on the radio.
2013 MINI Cooper - Good in-town vehicle
Once I saw that 27 MPG on my dash, I knew that I had made a sensible choice with the MINI Cooper Hardtop. This is ideal for people who drive in town and spend a lot of time in stop-and-go traffic.
Story
A guy I was seeing is very big and muscular. Watching him try to fold himself into this tiny car was adorable!
Pros
It navigates well -- makes turns on a dime.
The gas mileage is excellent!
Has more space than you think -- fold the passenger seats down, and there's plenty of room for luggage and groceries.
Cons
When you go over a speed bump too fast, you feel it on your rump. Double that, if you have a passenger in the other seats.
Doesn't feel very sturdy in strong wind. I'd be nervous, if I had to drive this on the highway.
VERY EXPENSIVE TO REPAIR. OMG.
