Nissan Altima Owner Ratings & Reviews
Write a Review
2007 Nissan Altima - Old, yet reliable.
There are many things I like about this vehicle, the gas, the interior, the key-less ignition. There are however things I dislike, the Altima isn't this nicest looking car, the key itself runs out of battery, and there is also the brakes.
Story
A memorable story is me driving around my drunk friends home from the club and I was scared they would throw up in my car because they were drunk, so I was speeding to get to their house before they threw up and I would have to clean up vomit.
Pros
The gas mileage is amazing on this vehicle, I take 2 hour drives almost everyday and the car can go 2-3 weeks until it needs more gas. The interior itself is very comfortable, and very nice and sleek. I also love how a key is not required to start the car because it only requires the key remote. This is very convenient because I always keep the remote in my backpack since I am a currently a student.
Cons
The cons involves the looks of the car which is not that big of a deal, but, the care could be modeled nicer from the start because I dislike the bulky back shape. The key remote requires a battery which is another con, it takes a while until it runs out but when it does run out, you'll be forced to trigger your car alarm in order to get in your car. I even had to deal with security because they though I was stealing a car. Also, the fact that the car alarm goes off when you use the hidden key in the remote is very stupid in my opinion.
1995 Nissan Altima - Love and Hate Relationship
My car may not be the prettiest car in the world but it does its job. I can go to work, go out with friend, or go visit my family no problem. I wish I was able to afford a new car because I know it will last me a lot longer but I will enjoy my car for the time it has. I also know that maintenance for my car is very inexpensive so that is always a plus. I know I don't need to fork over hundreds of dollars for expensive parts.
Story
This was the first car I took to my first paid photoshoot. I am a photographer and having transportation is a must. I drove all the way from South Gate, CA to Pomona, CA no problem. So I know my car will be dependable for a while.
Pros
My car is very comfortable. It can fit four big adults no problem. I don't have to worry about not having enough space. It also has decent mileage for an older vehicle, which in this day and age where gas is going up and down almost every week is a must. It gets roughly 30mpg on the highway and 25mpg on the streets. It is also not a very big car. So you can fit in a variety of spaces.
Cons
One thing I wish my car had was a sun roof. Living in California, it's always nice to look at the sky. Since my car is older it doesn't look very appealing. It's out of date and I wish I could afford to buy a modern version of my car. The paint used for these older cars is not the best. Over time is starts peeling and fading and makes your car very unappealing.
