This is a great car at a very agreeable price. It is a really pretty gold color that I never thought I would like but loved. It has a sunroof and leather seats that are so comfortable; they even have seat heaters. I got this vehicle with lower mileage and have had it for about a year now. I am continually impressed with what great mileage it gets. This car has a very large trunk, so it is good to take on long trips and for weekly shopping. It also has very deep cup holders in thoughtful locations. Other then standard maintenance, this vehicle has given me zero issues.
Story
I took this vehicle camping to Yosemite National Park for my birthday. I was able to fit a tent and a week's worth of gear into the trunk. It was so fun!
Pros
I love the color, the storage, the mileage, and the cup holders. It also gets really good gas mileage and is a low cost vehicle to maintain. The sunroof is a nice feature, especially on a sunny day. I have never had a car with leather seats before, and they are so comfortable. They also have seat heaters, which is a bonus. This vehicle is satellite enabled and is very intuitive for new users. It is very easy to figure out.
Cons
This vehicle does not have the best turning radius.

Pros: The car looks nice, gets decent miles per gallon, and drives smooth. Most repairs such as brakes and replacing tires were due to normal wear and tear. Because the catalytic converter was only manufactured by Ford, it was very expensive to replace.
Story
We drove from Palm Springs to Oakland, San Francisco, and Montery in this car. It has been very reliable.
Pros
The car has been reliable through our many travels including several trips over 800 miles round trip. The engine is powerful enough and the Radio/CD player has lasted a few years. It's a comfortable ride.
Cons
The car has been recalled due to a faulty air bag that releases metal parts when activated. The catalytic converter went out too soon, before 100,000 miles. In addition, the catalytic converter required to pass a smog in California is only offered through Ford. As a result the part was very expensive and repairs cost about $1,500 dollars. Other parts of the car malfunctioned such as the hydraulic system that controls the trunk. The rear of the car obstructs the driver's view. In fact, it is difficult to see traffic behind the car when looking out the side window. It is cramped and ba... (more)

When I went to Simi Valley Ford I did not feel any pressure to buy the car it was a fun experience rather than an obligation. The sales agent made me feel like we were playing in the cars rather than test driving them. The agent was kind and knowledgeable and he understood that I did not have a lot of money to spend so he made sure I got a good deal.
