Good purchase for the price
This is a small, comfortable, "cute" car that gives really good bang for your buck. It handles well, great turning radius (I can make a U-turn using just 2 lanes), drives really smoothly at highway speeds to the point where you may not even notice if you're speeding. Although most of the interior uses plastic, there are specially padded comfort areas where it counts, like the elbow rests, that shows considerate design. Great MPG value and the smooth silhouette of the car is pleasing to the eye.

2014 Ford Fiesta Disappointing
I bought this car used in 2015. It was roughly 18 months old and had about 24,000 miles on it. It is the most basic, inexpensive version of the Ford Fiesta - no power windows, no power seats, and the power door locks are a joke. All of the seating is cramped. And while the bucket seats in the front are "adjustable", it is difficult to get them in a comfortable position. The headrests jut out at an odd angle, pushing into the back of your head. About a month after I purchased the vehicle, I took it on a quick road trip and was pulled over by CHP and given a "fix-it" ticket because the reverse lights were always on while the motor was running. Thankfully, the repair was covered by the warranty (and though the experience was horrific, it was not the car's fault, but the dealership to which I took it). Another year later, and I ended up with a dead battery because the headlights would not turn off. I took it to a different dealership, had a much better experience, and was still covered by warranty. The manual transmission will sometimes pop out of reverse when first starting to back up, which is very disconcerting. Fortunately, this has only happened in non-critical situations, where losing the ability to back up wouldn't result in an accident. The vehicle does get pretty good gas mileage - currently getting about 31mpg using 87 octane unleaded gas. Surprisingly, using the hatchback and dropping down the rear seat back, I have been able to fit a lot more cargo into the vehicle than expected, so that was a very pleasant discovery. The gear ratio results in running at close to 4,000rpm when going 75mph.
