I love my vehicle for many reasons. One is reliability. My vehicle has never given me an issue in the 3 years I've had it. I am able to drive to different states on vacation without so much as a tire pressure light. I also love the trunk space. I can fit a stroller and a week's worth of groceries in the trunk very comfortably. I love how economic the car is in general. It only takes about $25 to fill up and it lasts me almost two weeks. It's also a great price, even when you buy new from the dealership. The only con I have for my 2014 Nissan Versa is that it's not very quiet. I do hear some engine noise while driving. Everyone says it's normal due to the economic engine it has, however it takes some getting used to. If anyone were to ask me if I would buy this vehicle again, my answer ... (more)
Story
My best memory with this vehicle is when I first bought the car and showed my daughter. I was so happy to finally have a four door car and so was she.
Pros
I love the fuel economy of the vehicle. It fills up quickly and last almost two weeks. I also love how reliable it is.
Cons
The only thing I would change is the amount of engine noise the vehicle makes. It's loudest when you're speeding up. Over time you do get used to the noise and it won't bother you.

When the Nissan Versa first came out in 2008, it was affordable, compact and just what I needed as a second car. It came in a hatchback or standard trunk style. I bought the standard. There are no bells or whistles. I've had a lot of Nissans, and this is the least classy. But, it has a good engine for a four cylinder and does the job. It has over 100k miles on it, and I've put very little money into it. It still runs well. Complaints are hubcaps fell off within a few months, and Nissan refused to admit fault. They used faulty plastic clips and they kept breaking. If you look at Versas from 2008, pretty much none of the cars have hubcaps. Door handle broke and key broke off in the door. Just little, annoying things that come with a cheaper car. Overall, I'm satisfied.
Story
My husband and I moved from Indiana to South Florida last summer. We drove that thing all the way there without a problem. We honestly didn't think it would make it. But, it did! I will have to say it wasn't the most comfortable ride, but when I saw the "welcome to Florida" sign, I had to laugh. That little car actually got there after three days of driving without any issues.
Pros
Engine runs well. Pretty good on gas. Low maintenance. Compact size.
Cons
Nothing fancy about the car. No hubcaps. They fall off as soon as you replace them due to faulty plastic hubcap clips that Nissan refused to fix. (Newer models have new clips.) Eats oil. Tires need air a lot. Minor sensor issues.

The sales person who helped me was friendly and let me take my time with the decision. Car show is usually a hassle due to pushy sales people but at this dealership I didn't feel I was forced to buy a car when I walked in. It took a while to find the price I wanted but I wasn't stressed about it.

They went above and beyond to find the car most similar to what I was looking for. I was initially denied for a car loan but they worked with me to find a credit union that would assist me and give me low monthly payments.
