2007 Scion tC - Great car, with a couple of minor issues

The Scion TC is a great car to own because it is affordable, but it still is backed by the Toyota engine and parts. Unfortunately, it will no longer be in production after this year, but buying a used one is a good choice. The car I purchased was about $5,000, so the car doesn't retain its value well. However, that means that you can find a good deal on a used, late-model car.
Story
The back panel of the trunk broke, so I had to find a guy with duct tape to stick it back on. It has since been repaired.
Pros
The car is really sporty, has fast acceleration and according to my friends is "the type of car a teenage boy would drive." I like that it is front-wheel drive, which means that it doesn't slide in the snow and is actually pretty good at handling Northeastern winter weather. The gas mileage is average (around 25 miles per gallon), but you can get better mileage if you do a lot of highway driving.
Cons
There is a defect where a piece of the trunk falls off. Also, my sunroof no longer opens...actually, it does open, but then it will never close again. Because of the sunroof issue, the car makes a weird buzzing sound every time I go over 60 mph on the highway. Additionally, the car will no longer be in production, so I am worried about finding parts if something were to break down in the future. The interior is also pretty basic, so forget about seat warmers or a navigation system.

2007 Scion tC - To small compared to what I'm used to but nice car

My vehicle was silver/gray. I bought the vehicle used. The car had great pick up and good speed. Gas mileage was not bad, but I think it could have been better for the type of car. The back seat could fit smaller people, but anyone tall was not comfortable. The trunk was pretty spacious for a small car. Seats were comfortable in the front. No power except for windows. I also loved the sun roof, but did not like the fact that the whole roof was glass when I tried to put something on top. Also the roof length was to short for any type of storage system for a kayak. I went from an SUV to this car which was a huge change, I was not used to having such a small car. I would recommend the car to someone that does not need much space. I do like the car, but once I trade it in for something el... (more)
Story
I have taken quite a few small road trips in the car. It is also the first car I have bought and paid for on my own.
Pros
the truck is spacious for such a small car. I like the size of the sunroof as well.
Cons
I think the gas mileage could be better. I get about 20 MPH, for a small car like that it should be higher

They had a wide selection, otherwise my experience with them was not very good. I ended up writing a letter to the president of the dealership regarding the litany of problems that came up during my purchase of this vehicle.

We had a great experience at this dealership because we felt that they actually cared about us getting the car that was the perfect fit for us. The car salesmen was not pushy, he was very helpful and accommodating.
