I bought this car used and it had a salvaged title. The interior of the car is like brand new and the exterior of the car has some issues but still keeps it together. Love the color of my car, orange. Even though it's orange, it's not too bright and has a metallic feel. The car runs smoothly, though a little on the loud side with the revving of the engine. It has over 150,000 miles on the car but has taken me and my husband on multiple trips. Overall love the car just wish I bought it either as new or a clean title.
Story
We took it on a road trip to the Grand Canyon and it was a nice ride.
Pros
Interior of the car is like new even though we purchased the car with more than 100,000 miles. It is very clean and has high end materials. The upkeep of the interior is easy and simple. Car is small and sleek and the color is nice. I like that it has a metallic feel. GPS system in the car works great and gives me great directions. The aux and iPod docks are a great addition to the car and helps with playing my own music.
Cons
When the engine revs it is too loud from previous owner's upgrades to the car. The front bumper hangs low and makes the hood look like it's open from previous owner. The GPS system is from 2008 and is not upgraded. You have to purchase the current year DVD to upgrade. The sound system has weak bass. A/C in the car is weak and doesn't work well. It pushes the air mainly out by your feet and doesn't go towards the direction of where you want the air.

What I was looking for when I was buying a new car was a Toyota Corolla. The lot that I was at was all out of the Corollas that were manual; however, the Scions had a Corolla engine and were manuals.
Story
Even though it's not an off-road vehicle, I've definitely taken it off-road many times. I've gotten it stuck where it shouldn't have, and I've lost hubcaps in random spots in the middle of nowhere because of that. It's probably because there's nothing to car and it's so light that it does so well otherwise.
Pros
Even though it's a fairly newish car (I know it's 10 years old), it's super-basic. It's just an engine with a CD player. If something goes wrong, which is rare, you can figure out what's wrong pretty quickly. Something else about it is that the rear seats fold down completely flat, and not just completely flat, but there are no gaps at all. So if you've got dogs, they won't accidentally slip into a crack and get hurt or anything.
Cons
It looks pretty dumb, and its rear brakes are drum brakes. So no one ever wants to check them when I get the car serviced to tell me if they're low or not.
