Reliable, Relatable, Responsible.
I have had my Scion xA since the summer of 2005. I only recently realized that before too long, I'll have been driving the same car for a decade. This is an incredibly good thing, both that I've been driving it for so long and that I just now realized it. This car has been wonderful to me and has never had a serious mechanical issue that was not caused by something unavoidable. I once spend $850 to repair the air conditioning only to later find out that I'd been scammed and should only have had to spend about $150. Even taking into account the $850 I was fooled into spending, the cost of maintenance for my car has been surprisingly low. Besides the aforementioned A/C issue and other than routine oil changes (every five thousand miles) and the recommended changes in the owner's manual like spark plugs, brake pads, and such, I have never had to take my car to the mechanic. I've never been left stranded anywhere and I've never had to find a way to get to work because my car wouldn't start. My Scion xA has been so reliable and I've grown to love it so much that when I moved 3000 miles across the country, I decided to pay almost $1000 to have the eight year old car transported instead of trying to buy a new one upon arrival. It's comfortable, it's got a good look to it, and most importantly, really: it's been ridiculously reliable.

A reliable, efficient vehicle.
I loved how fuel efficient this car is. It also never broke down or needed more than an oil change. It's surprisingly spacious for being so small and could fit a driver and three passengers comfortably. The interior design was pleasing also. When I first got in, it almost felt like a spaceship. The main things I dislike about this vehicle and its lack of storage space, and that there is no cruise control feature, making long drives difficult.

Cool Little Cruiser
I got my little hatchback 11 years ago in high school. I has great gas mileage and travels very well (I've been on more than 20 round trip ventured between North Carolina and Indiana). Blind spot are minimal, and the compact nature of the car makes parking anywhere a breeze. The interior is nice, but the seat materials hold on to pet hair like none other. For the purchase price and durability the car has demonstrated over the years, the XA is very practical. If they were still producing this model, I would just purchase another on in a few years. My luggage and dogs have ride comfortably, thanks to the fold-down seats in the rear. This car has made me very inclined towards compact, hatchback cars lol. Only had two issues: (1) the knobs that control the release of the rear seats to fold them down should be stronger: Both have broken off over the years. And (2) the factory 6 disc CD/MP3 Player got very temperamental after 7 years...Some of my favorite CD's have be trapped inside, refusing to eject or play for over a year now.
