Great Starter Car
I have had this car since I was 16 years old. So my feelings of likes and dislikes have changed over the past 8 years. When I first got it I was so in love with the compactness, simplicity, and the fact you could get a brand new vehicle with great gas mileage for a really great price. I also really liked that I feel like I was sitting right about the ground. The seat gives your legs like a 90 angle instead of sitting so low. I don't think there was anything initially that I didn't like. Now that I am older and in a different stage of life I wish that I had more room. It is not a young family vehicle. Car seats do not sit so well. I haven't had any major issues with the car. Last year I had to replace the time shaft for the first time. I'm pretty sure that is the only big shop visit. The mileage at the time was extremely great now technology has advanced to where you can have a larger vehicle for about the same mileage. Costs for repair are expensive but not any different than other vehicles. The performance of the vehicle was good. The acceleration picked up well from 0 to 40 but after that it was a bit slow. No issues with braking or handling. Inclines tend to make the car want to puke haha But what small engine car doesn't.

Scion xA
I love my 2006 Scion XA. My son helped me negotiate a great price when I purchased it new. You can never go wrong with a Toyota product and the Scion has all the quality you expect in a Toyota. I was looking for a dependable, low mileage economy car that looked sharp at a low price. My little Scion gets around thirty miles per gallon in town and close to 35 on the open road. I tested several other economy cars in the area and found nothing to compare in price. My Scion is a silver hatchback design which allows for lots of storage with easy access from all sides. You would not believe how much stuff this little car will hold. The back seat lets down just like a little wagon. You could sleep in there if you wanted to. The front seats recline all the way back which makes for a relaxing ride on long trips. My Scion has icy cool air a great stereo music system. I love that my Scion is low maintenance. Tires are very reasonably priced for this size car an a regular oil change at Wal-Mart keeps my engine running smoothly. The Scion was specifically designed with young college students and working adults in mind as an economical and dependable vehicle. This car was one of the best decisions I have ever made and have never regretted buying it!
