I like the car's simple styling. The interior is comfortable and straightforward. While the technology is pretty basic, I won't worry about it becoming rapidly outdated as many cars with GPS and sound systems can. The car is spacious and comfortable both in front and in back, and I feel I can haul a lot of stuff if I need to. It handles well and is a pleasure to drive.
Story
Once I drove my cat to the vet with him strapped into the passenger seat. He behaved.
Pros
Favorite features are the CVT engine that give me great gas mileage for a 4-wheel drive. In the three years that I've owned it I've only had to bring it in for routine maintenance and overall feel that my car is very reliable and safe. It is very fun to drive, and Subaru dealership service is generally very good.
Cons
While the interior is not as flashy as many other cars (Korean brands come fully loaded for a similar price), I am happy with it so far. I do wish that there were air conditioning vents for the back seats. The Bluetooth system is slightly difficult to hook up for some operating systems.

The Subaru Forester is the perfect all around utility car. It is equally at home driving in the city, suburbs, mountains, and forests. The Forester has excellent storage capacity, especially with the back seats folded down. It can fit everything from bikes to surfboards to lawn mowers. Additionally, it's great for city driving because it has a short wheelbase that makes it easy to maneuver and fit into small parking spots. Lastly, the Forester is very safe. Because of Subarus legendary AWD system, it will never slip in snowy or wet conditions.
Story
My husband and I would always take this car on our camping trips. It did great in the rain and on muddy back mountain roads.
Pros
- Lots of storage space - All wheel drive was great when exploring or camping - It was a manual transmission so that made it more fun to drive - Very reliable - Great safety ratings - Great visibility - Easy to park
Cons
- The manual transmission made driving on hills much harder - Bad head gaskets - Poor fuel economy - Not much leg room in the back seat

Good selection, good prices. The service is not so great, though, too crowded, low commission.
