First vehicle that I drove that had four wheel drive. The build quality is good, no interior rattles or noise of any kind. The interior materials look and feel high quality, and have held up well over time. I have experienced no issues with any of the electronic components. It is great for driving during winter. Great for driving in the snow. Great for driving in the rain. Great for driving on muddy roads, etc. Also great trunk area. Can store a lots of items after going shopping for groceries etc. Only "dislike" is it could have been little bigger for my needs.
Story
Driving from Green Bay to Chicago during winter night never felt better and more secure/safe.
Pros
Reliability. Strong engine for it's size. 4 Wheel drive. How it drives in Rain. How it drives in Snow. How it drives on slippery/muddy roads.
Cons
Fuel consumption during city/urban drive. Somewhat fast to grind down breaks (break pads).

We have been driving the Subaru Impreza for nine years, and while the car drives alright, it has had some issues come up along the way. Most of them minor but annoying. Generally, it's a decent car, gets decent gas mileage and looks alright, but to me, it's made cheaply. They cut corners in place they shouldn't have. For instance, a lot of parts on the exterior that should be metal are plastic. Little guards that hang on the bumper are held on with plastic, and eventually, we just had to cut what was left off. Another thing I did not like is that our mirror covers are plastic. Once, we bumped slightly onto the mirror, and the plastic cover (which is two pieces) snapped off. I could have just put it back on, except just falling to the ground caused it to shatter. We tried to get a new p... (more)
Story
The most memorable thing about this car is when we drove it across country to Yellowstone. It was pretty comfortable for the amount of time we spent in the car. Only issue was that the cruise control stopped working because of something to do with the gas cap. We never did figure it out, and it eventually fixed itself but apparently any little upset with the gas cap sets off a warning and the... (more)
Pros
Generally an okay car with good gas mileage. Relatively comfortable to ride in.
Cons
Cheap plastic parts, and something with the catalytic converter keeps coming loose and rattling. Had to pay to have that fixed several times. Poor design. Also, the suspension seems shot to me, and the car has not been driven enough for that. Our Honda is five years older and still working great.

In general, they were friendly and willing to negotiate the price on a lot of the sport package upgrades. They are a good dealer if you already know what you want and how much you are willing to pay for it. Make sure you do your research because the WRX/STi are enthusiast cars and salesmen generally do not understand the nuances of those.

The staff was incredibly friendly and experienced, and they made me feel like a valued customer. They respected my opinion and didn't force me to look at any cars I didn't want to. I knew I wanted the Forester and that's all they showed me.
