I decided to purchase the cross-trek after owning a Nissan versa for five years. Prior to the verse I owned a BMW X5 which was a beautiful car but came with a lot of drama. When I decided to get something newer and better I decided to choose the crosstrek for many reasons. It looked very similar to my old BMW but I felt better knowing that I was getting more bang for my buck in terms of trade in value
Story
I remember pulling into the target parking lot in Cary North Carolina and forgetting where I parked my car. Thanks to the my Subaru app I was able to get turn by turn directions to my car without searching aimlessly in the parking lot to figure out where I parked it.
Pros
I love the way my car looks it looks stylish sporty and is one of the best looking Subarus out right now. My car has enough room for me I'm a mom of two girls they have more than enough legroom and so why in the front my passenger has never complained about legroom. This car has top-of-the-line tech upgrades I have a great sound system my navigation system is accurate and easy to follow. In my first year owning the car I drove over 22,000 miles and never got lost. There are million and one add-ons available to make this car look more sporty. As a mom of two girls I knew I would never own a... (more)
Cons
There are not many cons to this vehicle I just wish that it was a little faster and responded a little better however this is not a sports car it is a cross utility vehicle. I guess my expectations of the car were incorrect when I purchased it. My salesperson spoke so much about how I had a Porsche engine in the Subaru so I expected more performance from this vehicle however once again it is a cross utility vehicle not a sports car. Is not very sensible for the top-of-the-line cross track to not have automatic locking doors. I feel as if this vehicle has all the tech upgrades in it should ... (more)

The Subaru Crosstrek has been an excellent car to drive and offers a lot of great safety features to keep you feeling safe on the road. I especially love the All Wheel Drive which has really helped me out of some scary situations on wet roads in AL. The vehicle I bought was a straight shift (5 speed) and it has been so fun learning how to drive a 5 speed especially the Crosstrek which offers a great feature which enables a 3 second hold on the car when starting to accelerate which makes the tricky getting out of first gear, a lot easier maneuver to master. The vehicle offers a lot of passenger room and cargo space. It is fairly economical in regards to gas mileage but not the best mpg I have owned. The Bluetooth audio/phone are not the greatest but average.
Story
The best memories are of me trying to learn how to drive my Crosstrek which is a 5speed after driving for over 30 years. My kids enjoyed going with me to learn and laughing when I stalled out many times trying to get out of first gear
Pros
The Crosstrek is fun and reliable and offers really great safety features such as all wheel drive. The vehicle is easy to drive and I love the "3 second hold" that is enabled when going from a stop to get out of first. This is especially great for those scary stops on hills in a 5 speed. The interior is roomy and offers good cargo space in the trunk.
Cons
The Bluetooth technology is lacking and struggles with connectivity issues a little to frequently. The gas mileage is not as good as advertised but still not terrible.
