I think the Suzuki SX4 is a well made vehicle. It is not too small and not too big. The vehicles engine has plenty of get up and go, in fact my wife nicknamed it zippy. The Limited Edition trim gave me a lot for my money with audio controls on the steering wheel and a pretty decent stereo system.
Title
This car has taken us to the mountains and back several times. It is a great road trip vehicle with plenty of luggage room.
Pros
Plenty of headroom and trunk room on this vehicle, plus the Special Edition trim level was loaded with features like audio controls on the steering wheel. Also the manually shifting option, and the paddle shifters on the steering wheel, are usually not found in a vehicle at this price level.
Cons
Back seat leg room could be a little larger. The stereo system would have been better to support blue tooth and a small sub would have been a nice addition. Also, it is easy to accidentally bump the vehicle into manual shift mode while on the highway. This results in the vehicle suddenly slowing down if you kick it into a lower gear. My poor wife has been a victim of this twice, however, I have yet to have it happen to me and I have been the primary driver for four years. Lol

I received this car as a graduation present. It is incredibly safe and secure. The upkeep is very easy, after having it for four years I am just now getting some wear and tear, and having to have actual maintenance done on it.
Title
My fiancée and I drove my car to Disney World, which is about an eight hour drive. My car made the ride very enjoyable.
Pros
It is easy to control, the brakes work incredibly well.
Cons
The gas pedal is a little small.

I purchased a 2007 Suzuki SX4 all wheel drive car. I bought it used in 2011. It has around 50,000 miles on it when I bought it. It has an automatic transmission. It is a 4 dour hatchback. The car is small even with 4 doors. Larger adults will have a hard time sitting in the back. The trunk space is small, but you can fold down the rear seats for larger items. The car also has a roof rack for things like bikes, surfboards and kayaks if you get the correct rack to do so. The car has an AM/FM radio with CD single CD player. Air conditioning is standard. It uses regular fuel which makes it easy on the wallet at the gas station. The car has a four cylinder engine making around 140 horsepower. It is not really fast but is okay for merging on to highways. For such a small car it only averages... (more)

I live on the coast about a quarter mile from the bay. When Hurricane Sandy hit all of the roads were flooded. I needed to get to work so I drove my SX4. The intersection at my house was under 1 foot of water and so were some of the roads I went down. I put the car into AWD mode and would drive up on the sidewalks to get around deep water. Since the car is so small it fit so one wheel was on t... (more)
Pros
My favorite things about the car are as follows. The car has all wheel drive. It was the cheapest all wheel drive car made at the time. This feature makes the car really good in the rain, ice and snow. I have yet to get stuck in this little car. The car came with a 7 year powertrain warranty. I bought the car used and the warranty fully transferred over to me. And it helped to pay for a major repair when the water pump broke. The car has roof rails for roof racks. Since this is such a small car space is limited. So the car has rails on the roof where I can mount a bike rack. The car uses ... (more)
Cons
The car is very small. It would be hard for 2 large grown men to sit in the back seat. The gas mileage is bad. For a small car with a 4 cylinder engine, it does not get good fuel economy. I get 24-26 miles per gallon in combined city and highway driving. Suzuki stopped selling the car in the United States. This is going to make it harder to get parts for in the future as the car gets older. The engine is not that strong. While the car is okay for merging onto the highway it could be better. It is the slowest 140 horsepower car I have ever driven. Part of the problem is the all wheel drive... (more)
