This vehicle has many positives and very few negatives. Overall, with close to 150,000 miles on it, it has held up very well mechanically. The only repair work done has been because of worn parts. The engine is still going strong with no signs of trouble. The vehicle's interior still looks nice and the cloth fabric has held up very well. There is ample trunk space. The vehicle comes equipped with 4 wheel drive which makes it nice to drive in snow and muddy conditions. It hasn't had a problem with anything we have asked it to tow. Best of all, the trunk without the security cover makes the perfect place to load your dogs and head out on an adventure with them.
Story
We went up into the mountains to enjoy the snow one winter. A Toyota Corolla had slid off the side of the road. Using our tow rope and digging out the Toyota's tires just a bit, we were easily able to tow it out and made it down the mountain in time for our dinner reservations.
Pros
My favorite feature of this vehicle is the reliability of it. It is very roomy and the back seats fold down nicely to carry large loads. Everything is still working after 10 plus years, minus normal wear and tear. The seats are comfortable. I am short and this vehicle has very nice visibility for shorter people. It tows our watercraft trailer without any issues.
Cons
Blind spots seems to be a real issue. The vehicle is equipped with 4 wheel drive and it is very important to use in snowy or slippery conditions. This vehicle is a bit of a cross between an SUV and truck so it does drive a bit rough. Also, it has a very high clearance and you must follow the recommendations by Suzuki or you could easily tip the vehicle over.

We bought this car used, everything seemed fine but there is a safety issue with this model with the passenger airbag sensor for when it knows children are in the seat or not. That was a pricey repair bill...And this still haven't recalled this part as far as I know. It's comfortable for everyday use, medium length trips but not for long ones. Gas mileage is fine, about 22. Repair costs are a little difficult to say because since it's a foreign car it's a gamble on who can and cannot work on it besides a Suzuki dealer, if a shop can then it's a gamble on whether or not they get the right part in and how long it takes them to repair it. It's fun to drive, handles great, and it feels like a safe car (once we got the safety issue fixed.)
Story
We had fun traveling in it. Once from iowa to florida and once from iowa to the Canadian border.
Pros
Back seats lay flat for lot's of storage. Good gas mileage. Nice look to the car itself, and can tow our pop up camper.
Cons
We have a baby coming soon and even though there are three rows of seats to put a car seat in the second row behind front passenger seat requires the front passenger seat to but set clear to the dash leaving absolutely no leg room. Also it's a difficult car to get worked on in my area since it is foreign and some shops don't want to touch it and/or have a hard time getting parts. Finally the windshield is one of those that's angled just right to get chips in it often. We have only had it less than four years and have had to get it repaired 3-4 times.
