2013 Toyota Prius - Why I like my Prius.

A few years ago, I purchased a 2013 Toyota Prius. I was familiar with the Prius, having driven one a few years back. I was extremely happy with the gas mileage and comfort of driving it. I am extremely pleased that the Prius delivers on all fronts: economy, comfort, and handling. The electronic features such as navigation and its ability to sync to my smartphone also add to its value and use. The downside is that living in Michigan, it sometimes doesn't perform as well during snow or ice storms. I remedied this by purchasing snow tires for the winter. Another of the few downsides was that the visibility out of the back windshields isn't always the best.
Story
My wife took the Prius instead of her car to visit her brother in Virginia. She made it all the way from the Detroit area to Washington DC on a single tank of gas! This has been a bragging point about my Prius ever since.
Pros
My top feature that I appreciate about the Prius is the excellent gas mileage, regularly above 40 mpg. The vehicle is also very comfortable and easy to control, even for a tall guy like myself. The electronic features are to my liking as well. The navigation is very user friendly, and the hands-free dialing on my phone via Bluetooth is much safer than holding my phone. I use an app on my phone called iTunes, which allows me to use my phone's data connection to use Pandora for my music.
Cons
The visibility out of the rear window, being split with the trunk, leaves a lot to be desired. The car doesn't handle too well in ice and snow, and I would highly recommend snow tires for the winter seasons. The main battery is expensive; and if it needed replacement, that would outweigh many of the advantages.

My Prius is amazing because I have driven across the country multiple times and have not had any problems with it. The gas mileage is amazing, and it averages around 50 miles per gallon. The vehicle is super quiet and has different modes to save gas mileage or make the Prius drive faster and more powerful. It's very roomy on the interior, and the cloth seats are the usual standard. I like the roomy hatchback trunk its different and nice. I enjoy the back window windshield wipers as well they come in handy.
Story
I have driven it from Michigan to Florida and back and forth. From the beach to the mountains, and it runs well.
Pros
Some of the best highlights of the car are the gas mileage being extremely high, the car itself is super quiet, the car drives very smooth and nice, the car runs into minimal problems in my experience, car is very roomy on the interior and great for a family or smaller
Cons
Sometimes the car being too quiet is an issue like when backing up, and there are people behind me and don't know my car is turned on. The car was not extremely cheap either. I do not know how much I like having a full synthetic car. A piece underneath the car I've had trouble with, and it is like $500 to get a new one and it's made out of plastic and a small piece under the car.
