The Focus is a good gas mileage car for work or long travel. The seats are adjustable in numerous ways and provide lumbar support which is nice on longer drives. Each focus I have owned has had a large trunk space for being a coupe. All around a balanced vehicle for everyday driving. One thing I do not enjoy about the 2007 model is the size/shape of the center console. The center console is VERY small and is more a nuisance than a convenience. Also the center console is mounted on a very weak hinge that allows you to put it upright. The hinge broke within one month of owning the vehicle(I always rest my arm on the center console while driving). The car did not come standard with cruise control but I do mostly city driving so that was not a huge issue. I bought the car just before we ha... (more)
Story
I drive in city or city-like traffic daily. The breaks on this car have saved me from getting into accidents numerous times in the metro-Detroit area. If you have ever driven around here you know what I mean.
Pros
- Between 25 - 31 mpg highway and 20-25 mpg city(could be more if I drove the speed limit) - Comfortable seating - Huge trunk - Quiet engine - Car seat U-links

I bought my car used with only 110,000 miles on it and I love it! It drives great, is quiet, gets great gas mileage, and is easy and cheap to fix. When we bought it we only needed an oil change and an alignment to get it running perfectly! I drive this car everyday to work and when I'm not at work my husband drives it back and forth to school and we love it. I would recommend a Ford Focus to anyone.
Story
We've only owned the car for a few months now but we've taken it to Lake Michigan a few times for family beach days.
Pros
The car gets great gas mileage. It has a huge trunk and a large backseat which is great because I have children. It has air conditioning which is awesome because my last car did not. It has power windows. It also has a CD player and radio. I love how small the car is because it is very easy to park in busy locations.
Cons
Since it was used, it had a few small burn holes on the seats and it has a few scratches on the outside paint. The front passenger side door only opens from the inside. I also don't like that the seat belt alarm goes off even if the car is started and still in park if you're not wearing the seat belt.
