I was very pleased with the road handling and acceleration of the vehicle. It corners well and has no problems with hills and uneven surfaces. The braking is smooth; the automatic four-wheel drive has engaged seamlessly. The interior was more spacious than I had anticipated. The drive seat has electronic adjusting and lumbar support. Now for the sound system. I loved the fact that Sirius radio was included as well as usb port for a thumb drive. The sound is very good and outside noise is well muffled. My favorite feature internally, though, is the sun roof. Overall, this car has exceeded my expectations in every way, and I would highly recommend it!
Story
I think my first country drive with the sun roof open. It was an absolutely beautiful day and I tell you...I loved my car at that moment.
Pros
The road handling, comfort, and reliability.
Cons
Fuel efficiency wasn't as good as I'd hoped.

Overall, I have been very happy with my decision to purchase a 2012 Ford Escape. I love the body style, and for being a mid sized SUV it does pretty well on gas. I haven't had any major problems with the vehicle, just the normal wear and tear maintenance issues. If I had to made the decision again, I would buy the Ford Escape in a heart beat.
Story
It was the first vehicle I bought, so I drove my whole family around town for about an hour on the day of my purchase.
Pros
I love the ground clearance. I drive through a lot of snow, so it's practical, but it's also fun to sit up high. I have a four lender, so it gets 28 MPG on the highway, which I'm happy with. I have always felt safe driving the escape. It has good tech features, like XM radio capabilities and an AUX input. I like the looks of the 2012 escape, in fact, I'd say it's much better than the newer versions.
Cons
The acceleration and breaks could be improved. There is a fair amount of noise in the vehicle when driving on the highway. The back row seats could be more comfortable.
