I love my Mustang GT. It's served me well all through school, racking up more than your average number of miles due to my commutes to and from school, as well as my part time job. I have averaged about 14,000 miles per year over the past few years, and with basic maintenance the car has performed great the whole while. It's also a great car for people who want something sporty without being too flashy. Mustangs are certainly quick, but there's enough of them on the roads that you don't get gawkers or extra attention from the police just because you like sports cars.
Story
My favorite times with my car have been trips to racetracks and drag strips around Michigan. I have modified the car, and love to go to the track with friends and family to share our love of cars.
Pros
The car performs great. The GT is fast and nimble, and never fails to bring a smile to my face when I put my foot down. It is also a super popular platform for the aftermarket, so since I love working on cars there's so much choice and support from the Mustang community.
Cons
The only negatives I can think of are practicality and fuel economy. The V8 is obviously going to be thirstier than a Camry, but I think us Mustang buyers know what we're getting in to there! The backseat is also way to small to comfortably hold adults for more than about 30 minutes. Anything longer requires frequent stops at gas stations to stretch legs and swap seats. But again, anybody who wants a sports car like the Mustang knows to expect this.

The car is what it is. It's meant to get compliments at the gas station and be the envy of your friends. I've had it for 10 years and 125,000 miles and it still runs great. Only issue I have had is I've had to replace the sway bar as a result of Michigan's awful potholes in the winter.
Story
It's always fun getting compliments. Even after 10 years I get the occasional compliment.
Pros
The car has great appeal and has the engine that lets you get on it when you need to. I love the leather interior that has been very forgiving for a couple spills.
Cons
It drives awful in the winter. I would highly recommend buying one as your second vehicle but if you were just looking for a year round car I would probably advise buying something that handles better in the winter. (Unless of course you live in the south)

Salesman was very helpful Salesman was willing to check all Ford dealerships within a reasonable area to find the car I wanted Office person carefully explained warranty and finance options Didn't feel the dealership with whom we had always worked (and was closer to us in Ann Arbor) offered the same friendly, helpful service Car was ready to pick up the next morning

They were very friendly and helpful in every way possible. The car buying experience was not as I expected it to be. The salespeople were not overly pushy and they sincerely wanted to get to know you as clients and wanted to find the best deal for you as an individual.
