A well-made truck. Mostly all the parts are easily accessible if there is ever a breakdown. The dealer I purchased the truck from really takes good car of the vehicle when in their care. The cargo area is easily accessible, and the bench seats as well as the middle seats are totally removable. Dealer always sends reminder cards for vehicle maintenance.
Story
When I drove the kids to Port Huron for a beach day and we found a puppy. We had ended up leaving our gear but went swimming in our clothes anyway.
Pros
Plenty of room and the seats fold down in the back for extra space. Sound system is great and haven't had any problems with speaker drag. The four-wheel drive system is easily turned on, and I have had no problems to date. Very smooth ride even on non traditional surfaces. The navigation system is very sophisticated for the model year.
Cons
Gas mileage isn't that great. Some of the parts under the hood aren't easy to get to. Tune ups are tedious and expensive if left to the dealer to perform. Door lights would come on frequently due to a recall issue a few years back. Tends to have electrical problems from time to time.

My 2006 Ford Expedition is the best car I have ever owned. It handles nicely and looks good while doing it! It's big enough for my 3 kids and 4 dogs plus the hubby! I can put up to 8 people in the car comfortably. There is plenty of room for all. It has a good engine in it. I was the first owner of the vehicle and the paint job has kept that new car look. The inside of the car is quiet and keeps out the road noise. Although in the beginning a few things had to be adjusted, Ford was very helpful in taking care of all issues. The trunk space is good enough - I'd rather have the seat room than more trunk space. The stock stereo was good for most people. Easier for kids to climb in the last seating row than for adults. The seats themselves are comfortable and have held up well. ... (more)
Story
My husband took the kids for a short mudding expedition in the expedition!
Pros
It is roomy for all 8 passengers. It handles all road conditions nicely. Limited blind spots. Back windshield wiper. Good engine. Wide outside mirrors for good external view. Seats have held up well. It's a good looking car. Wide windshield for open view. Towing package included.
Cons
The Ford emblems you can't take off without leaving holes. Did not have heated seats. The sun roof had to be redone 4 times before it didn't leak. It's slow on pick up. The gas tank had to be replaced when I first purchased it. Does not have heated mirrors for winter. No remote start. No subwoofer for the stereo and no where to hook it up. No speakers in the last row. Hard to get into the back.

They negotiated with me to help land the car I wanted. Mike G. Was very friendly and never made me pressured to make a purchase.
