I have had this workhorse for 14 years and will probably have it for another 5. The engine will outlast the body of this workhorse and has never failed me catastrophically. With regular maintenance including replacement of worn parts I have logged 220,000 miles and still going strong.
Story
camping in the U.P. of Michigan many times with this vehicle including taking a small 12ft boat IN THE BED so we could access remote fishing lakes in the U.P.
Pros
2 wheel drive provides good gas mileage with ample towing capacity the extended cab allows me to pack the kids in if I need to the engine provides ample power to pull my boat the bed provides enough room for my cargo box and any load I might need
Cons
rust, rust and rust. I feel Chevrolet used poor quality sheet metal suppliers for their trucks including this one as they all seem to rust in the same places. The tailgate and especially the cab corners corrode and "hole out" rather quickly.

2004 Ford Explorer - The car is what everyone should desire because of so many advantages it has.

Ford Explorer as the name goes is an exploring machine that is rugged to face any difficulty environment. It is a family kind if car also because it has enough space that can accommodate family members in the event if going out for picnics or outing program. Its performance on the road is something we can also depend on as, it gives you maximum performance on the road. It is also common kind of car and as such the parts are easy to get and use in the event of any damages on any parts.
Story
Using the car to take all my siblings for outing was a great experience I had with car. I did not have to look for more than one car to take them along, the car was big enough to take them there.
Pros
It is a big car that has space for family. It is a strong car. That means it does not get damage easily. The interior is superb and cool. It is rugged for any kind of road and muddy road also. It is cheap to buy.
Cons
Its parts are expensive to buy. It consumed a lot of fuel. It does not have a good fuel economy. Its kind of too big for a young man.

Salesman was very helpful Salesman was willing to check all Ford dealerships within a reasonable area to find the car I wanted Office person carefully explained warranty and finance options Didn't feel the dealership with whom we had always worked (and was closer to us in Ann Arbor) offered the same friendly, helpful service Car was ready to pick up the next morning
