The was very affordable as it was purchased with 35k miles on it. It was very spacious and family friendly. We have a large family with small kids. Buying a big car that had sliding rear doors was perfect for us. Anyone with kids will tell you that trying to put a car seat in a car without sliding doors can be a challenge, especially when parked into a tight spot. In addition to the doors the rear captain seats make getting to the third row seats extremely easy. What is also nice is that the rear seat is a stow and go. We like to travel and take family vacations where we drive to the destination. Being able to fold down the rear seat when necessary for additional cargo space is a huge plus. From a safety standpoint this is the first car we have owned that had a large back up camera on ... (more)
Story
Just driving around looking at house for sale before moving. Our kids became so use to us driving around on weekends and grabbing flyers that they began shouting to new houses whenever they would see them.
Pros
The top pros for this vehicle is definitely the space. The first time I drove the car I felt I was in a pilot seat of an air plane. It had plenty of room, arm rests and was very comfortable. The storage for cargo with the stow and go third row has given us ample space for out luggage when going on beach vacations. The sliding doors have been a life saver with the kids, the fact that the keys have the ability to open the doors from afar is excellent because the kids are able to get in the car and start buckling up without having to wait for us to unlock and open the doors. Our version also ... (more)
Cons
Negatives are the gas mileage. as we move towards a more eco friendly world this van does not perform gas wise as well as we would like. The technology in the car as far as entertainment is lacking. Would like have seen a more stylish audio dashboard with touchscreens or better lighting. The car still has an old school lighter charger which no one uses these days, it does have a USB jack but only one and with a car full of IPhone and iPad that solo charger becomes a hot commodity.

2011 Toyota Sienna - Absolutely love it.

It is a pre-owned 2011 Toyota Sienna. We purchased it with 35,000 miles on the odometer. To be succinct, I like the leg room, the stability and durability of the vehicle, and basically the overall handling of the vehicle. It has a decent amount of power and handles really well for a mid sized van. Granted, I wouldn't want the added driving safety features (traction control and VSC) for Montana driving. They make snow and ice driving very difficult. All my likes and dislikes are covered in the pros and con section below.
Story
We have owned the vehicle for a year and have no real memorable stories about the vehicle.
Pros
The thing that I like most about it is the room for the passengers. It is a big vehicle, and the room is not wasted, being situated in cabin for maximum comfort while moving in the van. The power of the van is also nice, especially for a vehicle of that size. All the controls are in easy reach, although they take some getting used to. I most like the fact that it is such a well rounded vehicle, perfectly suited to a family of 6, and maybe more.
Cons
I have four negatives. The first has to do more with the lack of features with our last vehicle, which is the lack of a DVD player, even though there is the option of having one installed, so it's ridiculous to bring up. The second regards the shields for the slider mechanisms for the bucket seats. They are rather fragile and exposed to steps and scuffing feet that break and twist the guards. The third is the design for the middle console for the seats in the middle. Due to it's placement, it gets dirty when our kids step over it to the back, and due to the design, it is hard to clean. ... (more)
