What I like about my car is the steering of it is practically effortless, the seats are comfortable to sit in, and there is a lot of room to put stuff in or add extra people. I could easily drive with one hand is I had to, turning corners is a breeze and it is easy to back out of spaces. The seats in the car I think are comparable to the seats of a luxury car. The seats are plush and seem to conform to the shape of your butt. It is so roomy that your legs don't cramp, which is a good thing if you are driving. I love that the trunk of the car is big that it can easily handle a grocery cart full of groceries with the food being crammed in there. What I kinda dislike of my car, is the interior color of the car and my speakers. These two things kinda irk me, as the speakers of my car don't... (more)
Story
My boyfriend and I rode to Branson, MO in it. We had stopped to get gas on the way there, and a man who was getting gas across from us, complimented my car. He liked the body and shape and wanted to know what kind of car it was. It's the first and probably only time someone has complimented my car, and it made me feel kind of special and proud. My boyfriend teased me about it later, saying I a... (more)
Pros
The size of the car fits me perfectly in that it is comfortable seating and easy to steer. I love that the engine is so quiet when that it is idle, it is so quiet you can't tell if the car is on or off. My car gets 35 miles on the highway, and since I am on the highway quite frequently, I love the miles per gallon on this car. I like that there is plenty of room for when I go grocery shopping to put my groceries. The last car I had was not that way. I like that the shifting of gears is so smooth and not choppy in the least. It is an automatic, which is the only type of car I drive nowadays... (more)
Cons
This is really hard, because I can't think of too many things negative about my car. I guess I would have to say that the interior color of the car I am not too thrilled about. It is a light gray (ash) color, and to me it is not an attractive color. Another thing that I don't like about my car, is when parking in a parking spot that is narrow, it takes real maneuvering to get it into that spot as the body is a bit wider than what I am used to. Another picky thing, but I am not too keen on the hubcaps of the car. I think they are rather ugly and I know I can change them, but don't have the ... (more)

The 1999 Toyota Camry has impeccable reliability. I have not had anything fail on its own that would impact the functionality or safety of the vehicle. The trunk is large enough to transport six filled yard waste bags, and it is secure enough to not prevent spiders from the waste bags from getting into the passenger section of the vehicle! This car has over 230,000 miles on it, and I am planning on putting on many more in the future. I have the “Gold Edition,” which has very comfortable leather seats and a great speaker system. The spoiler on the back provides for a sporty look. All of the interior controls are easy to use and access. As old as this car is, it still gets great gas mileage. It hit 35 miles per gallon on the highway during a road trip. This car is lightweight but still h... (more)
Story
I used this car to commute 45 minutes to school and work on a daily basis. It held up very well and never broke down. I would also drive it around town with friends in my college days. Michigan can be treacherous in the winter, especially with all of the lake effect snow. I once got stuck in some very deep snow in the parking lot at work. It was an amusing experience, but I was able to get hel... (more)
Pros
My favorite feature is the reliability, hands down. I have heard stories of Toyotas (in general) lasting for up to 500,000 miles. I did not believe them at first. How could a vehicle last that long? Now I know that owning a Toyota Camry has definitely convinced me otherwise. This vehicle has reached 230,000 miles, which is many more than most other vehicles are able to reach. Another one of my favorite features is the sound system. Every time I ride in somebody else’s vehicle, I notice how low quality some sound systems can be, but the Toyota Camry proves that impeccable sound can be achi... (more)
Cons
This vehicle does come with some negative aspects. As with any vehicle, when it gets old, the body rusts. I have had to repair rust multiple times. The rust was not in a hidden location, but it was located on the roof near the windshield. It rusted so deep that water leaked through when it rained. The cost to repair was not overly expensive, though (especially not as much as a new car!), and it is worth it to repair. Regardless, I would rather fix a little rust on a car that will last decades, as opposed to fixing more serious issues on a vehicle that will only last a few years. Another... (more)
