We were in the market for a new, family car, when we found out we were going to have a baby. At the time, we both had 2 door vehicles and felt we needed a reliable 4door as we would be doing a lot of traveling. We settled on the Toyota Camry for a number of reasons. First, we knew from our research that the Camry was a reliable vehicle. It had passed all of the safety inspections that were pertinent at the time. A big plus for us was that it had child safety locks on the doors and was equipped with car seat safety buckles/tether anchors for both front and rear-facing mounting of the car seat. The gas mileage on the Camry was incredible. It was roomy enough to fit my 6'3' frame and still provide leg room for those in the back. The design was a plus. It wasn't boxy or lengthy, but stylis... Story
The one thing I've noticed is that my Camry is tough. I treat it like a truck with hauling stuff and working and it always comes through.
Pros
Roominess. Gas mileage. Efficiency. Safe. Stylish. Affordable. Trusted.
Cons
Stock stereo had no CD player. Rear view mirror creates a blind spot when I'm driving (I'm tall). Hard to adjust seat to that perfect lean.

The best quality of my car that I have found is that it was so reliable. I bought it used off of craigslist and it had nearly 200k miles on it already. It was cheap and I needed a car fast for college. I did not expect it to last me through college and then some. I still have the car.
Story
In a spur of the moment I decided to take my car up to Payson to go camping for the weekend. The longest drive I've taken my car for ever.
Pros
The pros are that it's a long lasting car. It's an automatic. It has automatic windows. The AC is still running decently. The seats are cloth not leather so I don't burn myself in the summer.
Cons
The cons is that its old. The car has sun damage on the roof and hood. There is an oil leak in the car but that area where it is leaking from would cost a lot in labor to get it fixed. The cost would be more than what the car is currently worth. The radio in the car just needs to be replaced, but that's something that I can do myself and doesn't really have much impact on the car itself. That's a small thing though. While I did say the AC works, it does tend to get a little weak in the summer, but I do live in Arizona after all.

The sales staff seemed genuinely friendly and not fake, selling me things friendly. They weren't pushy and allowed me time to look at everything I wanted to. All the staff answered all the questions I had, and there were a lot. The selection is fantastic, and they keep the cars in good condition. They are willing to work on pricing.

The car was sold to me with an extensive maintenance record of services all provided at that dealership. I bought it as the second owner, the previous owner bought it and sold it back to the same dealership. So the car has always been maintained by them and was an excellent deal.
