The 2.0-liter BMW Twin-Power Turbo inline 4-cylinder, 16-valve 228-hp engine is very impressive for its horsepower. The interior is very nicely done and lots of leg room for all the seats. The inbuilt music system is also very mice and the dashboard is very detailed and easy for one to use. The handling is very nice the servotronic vehicle-speed-sensitive power steering seems to have worked wonders on the X1. The 4-wheel ventilated anti-lock disc brakes with Dynamic Brake Control makes the breaking system very good too.
Story
One of the memorable story is when I drove the car home from the dealership, no one expected me to get that car but I had saved for two years straight so that I would buy my 'dream car'. I felt the sense of achievement, and everyone now could believe that it's possible.
Pros
The car is really impressive in its horsepower. It has fantastic acceleration compared to the previous models. The breaking system is very good too. The shocks of this car are very nice you can hardly feel the small rough patches of the road. The shape of the car is really nice, I see it as a small predator, a beast ready to devour.
Cons
The car has too many things on its dashboard, it is hard at first to understand what each button does. The car also is very complicated in terms of starting it, I was locked out of my car then as I didn't know that I had to open with my key. When I went in I couldn't start it only to realize that after pressing the start engine button I still have to insert the key, its confusing at first before one gets used to it.

The BMW X1 S28i is my second X1 vehicle. I must say I enjoy BMW's overall and I've had several but take my advice don't get the fully loaded model then downgrade to a basic model. My first x1 was fully loaded, sun roof, heated seats Sirius radio, power side windows, touch door locks the works. After having it for three months, someone hit me and my car was totaled. I couldn't find my exact car at the BMW dealership so I had to go to another dealership, and they had the car brought in. That was my first mistake, because they imported the car in I felt pressured to buy the car its still a great little car but it had none of the upgrades. The car like most BMWs have a smooth ride, but the s28i does not have any of the before mentioned upgrades only x28i. Both models are a bit noisy, my pe... (more)

Nothing comes to mind right away...only that my family laughs because you can't see my head over the seat. It's a cute compact car.
