The 2.0-liter BMW Twin-Power Turbo inline 4-cylinder, 16-valve 228-hp engine is very impressive for its horsepower. The interior is very nicely done and lots of leg room for all the seats. The inbuilt music system is also very mice and the dashboard is very detailed and easy for one to use. The handling is very nice the servotronic vehicle-speed-sensitive power steering seems to have worked wonders on the X1. The 4-wheel ventilated anti-lock disc brakes with Dynamic Brake Control makes the breaking system very good too.
Story
One of the memorable story is when I drove the car home from the dealership, no one expected me to get that car but I had saved for two years straight so that I would buy my 'dream car'. I felt the sense of achievement, and everyone now could believe that it's possible.
Pros
The car is really impressive in its horsepower. It has fantastic acceleration compared to the previous models. The breaking system is very good too. The shocks of this car are very nice you can hardly feel the small rough patches of the road. The shape of the car is really nice, I see it as a small predator, a beast ready to devour.
Cons
The car has too many things on its dashboard, it is hard at first to understand what each button does. The car also is very complicated in terms of starting it, I was locked out of my car then as I didn't know that I had to open with my key. When I went in I couldn't start it only to realize that after pressing the start engine button I still have to insert the key, its confusing at first before one gets used to it.

The X1 series is equipped with sophisticated safety features. BMW combines speed-sensing steering and four-wheel independent suspension with a comprehensive brake system and an abundance of safety features. Additionally, the X1s have fully automatic headlights with a delay-off feature along with front and rear fog lights, and daytime running lights.
Story
When I brought this car home, everyone was so happy, especially my five-year-old son. He was dancing with joy and just wanted a ride in it. This is the most special memory. The happiness on my family's face when I brought the car home
Pros
The 2014 BMW X1 has an aggressive and challenging front-end design. The visual impression of this vehicle is quite assertive. This crossover vehicle may have the body of an SUV and station wagon, but the front-end design of this car bespeaks an attitude of advance
Cons
Those who prefer a car with a sporty appearance would be happier with another car. The front fascia presentation may prove too aggressive for some people. The visual impression is definitely aggressive. A few test drivers say the shift lever is awkwardly located.
