San Antonio, Texas
The X1 is an economical crossover but, overall, lives up to the good BMW reputation. This is especially true when considering safety and security. It can accommodate skis, beach equipment and groceries easily. Moreover, it seats five people very comfortably (see below).
Today I bought my second car from dream motors! This speaks volume on this dealership! Friendly, knowledgeable and honest service is what you receive here. I've had 5 friends to purchase vehicles here and all have the most positive things to say! I am loving my BMW Z4 and I have always been treated like family ! This is the best place to come when looking for nice quality high end cars and know that you can trust and believe in the staff! Thanks so much for many years of wonderful service,
BMW X1 The Family SUV
Though rivals have more passenger and cargo space, the 2015 BMW X1 delivers lively handling, exceptional fuel economy and strong engine options, reviewers report. A turbocharged four-cylinder engine powers the base BMW X1 and has good power for quick acceleration, critics say. Some report the available turbocharged six-cylinder engine produces quicker acceleration, but others find no noticeable difference. The base X1 has a standard eight-speed automatic transmission, while six-cylinder models are paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. With an EPA-estimated 23/34 mpg city/highway, the base 2015 X1 earns some of the best fuel economy estimates in the class. Reviewers praise the BMW X1 for its sharp handling, noting that its small size and low height make it more athletic than larger crossovers like the BMW X3. Test drivers are also impressed with the X1's comfortable ride, strong brakes and communicative steering. Automotive writers commend the 2015 BMW X1's interior for its premium materials and uncluttered design. They find the X1's front seats roomy, though many prefer the additional support the sport seats provide. Test drivers find legroom in the rear seats tight for adults. The BMW X1 comes equipped with automatic climate control, rain-sensing windshield wipers, an eight-speaker stereo, Bluetooth, a USB port and BMW's iDrive infotainment system. Options include a panoramic sunroof, a rearview camera, front and rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, satellite radio, an 11-speaker Harman/Kardon surround-sound audio system and navigation. According to test drivers, the iDrive infotainment system is user-friendly, responsive and has straightforward menus. However, some reviewers complain that some of the X1's interior controls aren't clearly marked. With 47.7 Cubic feet of space, the BMW X1 has less cargo space than that of most rivals, but automotive journalists say its low cargo floor makes it easy to load and unload large items.
