I think this is a great starter car, especially for me. It is cheap, easy to maintain, and not the worst on gas mileage. My favorite thing about this car is the size. There is plenty of space to carry people and their stuff in comfort. The one aspect of the car I have had problems with is the interior, it falls apart inside, particularly the headliner of the car. It has many luxury benefits such as dual-climate control and the ability to move the seats with the ease of a button.
Story
The best memory I've had with this car is because of bench seat in the front. If you don't mind squeezing in, you can fit six people into the car. So five friends that I was just getting to know all filled in the car with me for a trip to a music concert. It was crowded in the front and the back, but we all got to know each other over the three-hour trip.
Pros
This car has great luxury benefits for such an old car. There is dual-climate control and a compass on the rear view mirror. It also has very nice leather seats and is easily the most comfortable car I've ridden in. It handles very well and has a sort of classic look. There is plenty of space in the trunk as well as the back seat. My friend who is 6'10" can easily fit in the backseat; something that he can't do even in his own car. Even though it is an 18-year-old car, I have had only one issue with the car (replacing the starter) that only cost me about $80.
Cons
The biggest problem with this car that I have faced is that the interior seems to just fall apart. The headliner in particular started to fall down shortly after I bought it. I ended up having to just cut it all off. Another problem is if you want to replace the stereo system, it can be a pain to take apart the dashboard to get to the wires.

I was surprised at how much I actually enjoyed this car. At first I thought it was going to be a typical old person type of car, and in some ways, it is. The interior is a little dated, and it handles like a boat, but that just means that it is absurdly comfortable to drive. The engine is just powerful enough to cruise on the highway comfortable. It is also capable of bursts of speed an acceleration in a pinch. It's no sports car, but it works well. I dislike the gas mileage. It isn't terrible, but it could be better. The quality is more than good enough. I have only had a few problems, and the parts were cheap and easy to replace. It's built solidly.
Story
I pulled up at a traffic light. In the lane next to mine was a little old man driving the same car, same color. He rolls his window down and motions for me to also, so I do. He yells, "Nice car!' and laughs, and I laughed and said, "Hey, you too!" The light turned green, and he took off a lot quicker than I expected.
Pros
The top positive things are the comfort level and the ease of driving it. As stated above, it doesn't handle the best, but this isn't the kind of car that you should be taking turns at a high rate of speed. It is meant for casual cruising, and at normal speeds, it is very easy to drive and feels good while driving it.
Cons
The top negative things are the gas mileage and looks. The interior looks like it came straight from the 1970s, and by looking at the exterior, everybody thinks you're an old person heading to church.
