Dependable
My Dodge Durango has been very dependable over the years. When I was searching for an SUV, this was one that I really liked. There is a third row for extra passengers, a v8 engine, 4x4 for those nasty days and power windows and locks.
The quality is second to none. To this day, people are amazed what good shape the vehicle is in. The interior has held up nicely over the years. I always took care of it and it paid off. Besides the interior, there is able room. I have moved from Florida to PA and back. Amazingly, there is a lot room with a 60/40 split.
The brakes are ABS brakes and it is equipped with a tow package. I can tow my boat or my trailer without an issue. Besides that, I don't have any blind spots. The SUV came with larger mirrors and that helps to minimize blind spots. Continuing on with the quality, the SUV has held up well over the years. I believed that keeping up with the preventative maintenance helped over the years. Of course, I had to change tires, and brakes but the important things stayed good.
Finally, I really like this SUV. I have tried over vehicles and I really like the Dodge Durango. My next vehicle will be a Durango because of it's excellent reputation, dependability, safety features.

Great daily driver with plenty of room.
I really like my Dodge Durango. It is nice looking on the outside while roomy and comfortable on the inside. The car has had very few mechanical issues, and all issues were resolved quickly with good prices on the parts. The Dodge Durango, while a larger vehicle, is good on gas. It is great as a daily driver and even better for long road trips as everyone has plenty of room. The Dodge Durango has third-row seating, making it comfortable for 7 people to ride. I really like that the third-row seat lays flats to give more trunk space, and you can lay the second row down to accommodate larger moves. The Dodge Durango has lots of little pockets and cup holders making it convenient for everyone riding. The Dodge Durango has been one of the best vehicles I have owned. It is roomy, reliable and overall a good-looking family friendly vehicle. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for a safe family vehicle with plenty of room to fit comfortably. The seats recline making it particularly good for resting on a road trip. This is actually one of my favorite features, and I think anyone would enjoy this used vehicle with a good price point.

Great handling and every day drive quality for a truck.
The 2003 Dodge Durango R/T, with a 5.9L V8 is a torque beast that continues to soldier on after years of heavy use. This vehicle still has its original engine and transmission, and a documented service record going back to initial purchase. At 200,589 miles, the truck seems just as strong and apt as a brand new one. Build quality is what you would expect in this segment from an American manufacturer. Of course there are some loose trim pieces (visors in particular) and some of the electrically powered accessories (sun roof) are starting to show some eccentricities.
However, with the optional 8 inch wide wheels and a set of Pirelli P-Zero tires, this truck handles as well as most cars and is a fun ride down twisty back roads. It plants well in the middle of the corner and accelerates through the apexes willingly. The bottom end grunt is handy for towing or hauling and the power band is as wide as a Humvee. It's easy to drive and rarely breaks loose at the rear end, despite having so much torque.
Paint is still wearing well after so many years and still looks good in comparison to today's vehicles. Although the mid-year Durangos (2004-2008) have not aged well with their larger, more straight edged design, this design still looks good and the stance of the vehicle with its running boards and front ground effects make it look eager and fun.
