Roomy
This is the first vehicle we have had with the seats that fold down into the floor of the van and we love not having to take the seats out every time we think we might need to haul something. It is also nice having the storage space available when the seats are set up. I also like having the LATCH system for child safety seats as it is much easier to take the seat out and put it back in as needed. Even after 30,000 miles, the vehicle has no rattles. The EcoBoost system seems to slow the van down when in use, so we do not use it. It is a Flex fuel vehicle, however, we do not use anything other than the ethanol added gas. After researching, using E-85 fuel has more disadvantages than advantages, such as vehicle damage and poor gas mileage. The interior is nicely designed and decorated. I like the slide door covers on the storage areas, however, I have almost lost papers when they have slid up under the edge, Luckily, they came back after sliding and pushing on the covers. Having a storage pace for the rails on the top of the van is also nice.

Reasons why I would never invest in another Dodge Grand Caravan again.
I own a Dodge Grand Caravan. It is silver with black trim. It was made in the year 2000. I purchased it as a used vehicle, as my growing family needed more space when doing errands and traveling around town. It has been one of the worst investments I have ever made. Upon receipt of this vehicle, I was happy to have the spacious seating, the "bucket" seats as I call them (deep inset seats with comfy carpet like material), the third row seating, the back windows that I could control from the front of the car, the storage space around the seats, and the design on the inside where the A/C controls and CD player controls are.
Within a few days, the car started this horrible squeaking noise, the A/C broke, the motor in one of the back windows broke and won't open, I noticed that the hatchback area has almost no space whatsoever for groceries, strollers, or anything else wider than a briefcase, the serpentine belt needed replacing, and several other minor yet annoying setbacks.
After researching my purchase I found that it is common that the vehicles have no air (due to a recall), it is common for the serpentine belt to mess up (due to a recall), it is normal for the motors to break in the windows, also normal for the squeaking noise (both due to recalls). Now what was a $2,800 car has turned into a $4,000 or more car, which I will not be replacing. Recently, we found that the motor is "burning" oil rather than leaking, which is also supposed to be a common problem... in other words, the engine will blow up any day. So we are just waiting for it to explode and break so that we can sell it to a junk yard rather than investing more than what we paid for it to get it functioning.

Dodge Caravan the grocery go getter
I like my Dodge Caravan because it has required very little upkeep mechanically. I've only done regular oil changes and replaced tires. My van has about 240,000 miles on it and it is still going strong. I love all the room it has for my large family. It really was worth the purchase price of $1700 and more.
