What I like about the Caravan is that I got it for $2k first of all. Decent miles not in bad condition. It has a lot of room inside. It is also great for kids if you have two or more kids. One con I had was that the A\C compressor clutch broke after a year or so of owning it. I spend a few hours reinstalling it myself cost me around $80 for the replacement and a few hours of my time but not too bad so far it has been reliable to me and my family. It has sliding doors on both sides so it makes loading and unloading things real easy and they work well. It has a TV in the center of the driver and passenger for the kids to stay entertained which is also nice. The body is still in decent condition after over 10 years so that is also not bad it has a dent from someone driving into the side o... (more)

We took it to Disney world and had a great trip
A Favor
Size, space, ease of access, comfortable, reliable, headroom. Also has rear A\C ducts for the kids/passengers in the back which is awesome not many vehicles have that.
En Contra
A\C clutch broke after a year of owning. Other than that none.

We found this van when it was two years old. It was used for about 48 thousand miles. We now have over 200,000 miles, and it's still strong. When we first looked at it, our youngest boy flipped the seat up in his face, knocking himself over. We all laughed and still tease him about how he checks new vehicles out. We carried all five kids through their schools, activities, shopping, back and forth to work, everywhere. After the three older kids left our house, we packed up and moved 800-plus miles with our youngest two kids. We left winters behind but moved (at first) to an inner-city environment. Once our old house sold, we purchased our 30-acre piece of Missouri woods and, again, used our van to help move here. We live rather far out of a little village and only go in to town once a w... Soon after we purchased this van, we hired a babysitter, took out all the back seats, filled the back with padding and bedding, and I took my wife on a date to break it in. Wonderful memory!
A Favor
The best things about this Dodge van starts with how well it's aged. Sure, we've had the usual failures here and there but nothing truly major. It's been a very reliable vehicle and carried all of us well all these years. When some of our kids moved on, we just took a couple of seats out and had a lot more room for stuff and far fewer little kid tiffs about who was going to sit where! Even out here in rural America, along a dusty dirt road, the finish on this van still looks pretty good, given its age. And if we want to see how good it's doing, we just get the hose out and wash the dust of... (more)
En Contra
There are very few things I can say against this van. Yes, the bearings on the air conditioning compressor failed, forcing us to remove the A/C system completely. This still haunts us, as we now live in a part of the country where summer is just a bit aggressive. But I was raised on 4-by-60 air conditioning (four windows, wide open, sixty miles an hour), so our kids have learned that too. And all those winters driving through Michigan salt on the roads is getting evident along the running boards. Overall, nothing bad!
