What I like about the Dodge Grand Caravan is the spacious interior. It is nice to have the extra seats, while also having leg room that other cars with a third row often lack. The van is overall comfortable, convenient and reliable.

Roomy family vehicle.
I purchased a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan brand new and was sold on being a minivan driving mom. I loved the stow and go seating, sliding doors, and ample room inside to navigate car seats. As a mom of three children, this minivan was game changer and made car rides so much more enjoyable for our entire family. I also became the cool mom that had extra space to bring friends along to sporting events and social outings. The exterior and interior of the Dodge Grand Caravan are great quality and have held up really well. Seven years later after a good shining, my vehicle looks brand new. However, I commute an hour to work both ways and once my vehicle reached an estimated 80,000 miles, things started to go downhill quickly. In the past few years, I have found myself having to deal with significant maintenance issues. While some maintenance is to be expected with an older vehicle, I have been disappointed in the frequency given that we took great care of our vehicles mechanically. For instance, our head gasket had to be replaced last year which is a very costly repair. It does not drive as smoothly as it once did, and my engine has gotten very loud. Looking back, I think a Honda or Toyota would have been better quality for a long duration in terms of mechanics.
