2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport - The best car I have ever owned!
This car is my all time favorite. I previously owned a smaller car and for a single teenager I thought that was all I needed. When I got married, we decided it was time for a more family appropriate vehicle so we hit the market running. The minute I laid eyes on the Santa Fe I fell in love. I knew that it was the car I would choose. Sure enough, four hours later we were driving off of the lot. I was nervous about an SUV because of the obvious gas usage and the overall up keep and durability of the car. This vehicle has better gas mileage than my small car and the interior is to die for. It is so nice and stays clean even with small children. Not to mention the drivability which is so easy. The steering just flows with you. It's not too sensitive or too hard to turn. Another huge plus f... (more)

Another huge plus for me was the amount of room in the vehicle. My husband and I have put two kayaks and two bikes in the trunk alone. This car is a must have!
My husband and I went on a kayaking/hiking trip in North Carolina and we were frantically trying to find a truck that wouldn't cost a fortune in gas to put our kayaks, gear, and bikes in. The night before the trip, I had a crazy idea. I turned to my husband and told him I bet everything would fit into the Santa Fe. The pros are most definitely the gas mileage. Also the classy interior never seems to get dirty, even with small children. There is a plentiful amount of room in the vehicle. Even after two years, other than routine maintenance, I have not had the first issue. This car is great for people who need a family car but do not want to settle for something like a van. This is definitely a "cool mom" car. My kids love all of the leg room they have in the backseat versus my husband's vehicle. I usually get bored with cars and am ready to trade in after a few years but I still have not found anythin... (more)

The only con with the Santa Fe is the blind spots associated with it. Blind spots are a risk with any vehicle and this one just so happens to have some big ones. They are generally at the rear of the vehicle. It's not anything that would make me not like the vehicle, but it can be a safety hazard when backing up. The only other thing I can think of is the fact that the car tends to slide on gravel pretty easily. Considering I live around several gravel roads, I do not particularly care that the car slides so much but it may have something to do with the tires I have on it so I can not righ... (more)

This vehicle really has no huge cons to it and that's why I've grown to love it so much.
2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport - Nothing missing in this fun to drive car.
My car was a year old when I purchased it, and over 100,000 miles later it's still running like the day I drove it off the lot. I haven't had to do anything to it other than change the oil regularly. There aren't any stray rattles, creaks, or groans.

When Hurricane Michael tore through the Florida panhandle, our church called for volunteers to go and assist with cleanup. I love the flexible steering with the touch of a button I can change the tightness of the steering. I can keep it loose for in-city driving, normal for short commutes, and take it nice and stiff for long hauls. The rear seats can recline slightly, enough to make napping easier. They also fold forward independently, so I can fold half the back seat down and leave one up. By folding them down, I can pack enough camping gear and food for an entire weekend. I've also just folded down one side for the fishing gear. There's plenty of leg room in the back seat, and I'm pretty tall for a woman. Th... (more)

The driver's seat has an adjustable lumbar support, which has come in very handy on long road trips. The driver's seat also has the standard forward-and-backward adjustment, but also an up-and-down adjustment. It has Bluetooth, so I can use a hands-free option for phone use, as well as playing my playlist and podcasts through the car's stereo system, which is also fabulous.
I don't know if this model had a rear camera in 2014, but that, and a luggage rack are the only things that are missing.
