Point A to point B.
The vehicle was bought used in 2015. Starting with a 12 year old car doesn't make a car owner fall immediately in love with it. However, even though it has 141,000 miles and is approaching 15 years old, it runs pretty well. Sometimes the start up is rough, but it revs and we get going. I do not like that the car has no "get up" as all, aka there is no way to pass other cars on the road in less than a minute. The body also has an older design, it was built before car companies like Hyundai and Honda started making their commuter cars sleek and cool.

A classy old car with good reliability.
I bought my used 2003 Hyundai Sonata about 10 years ago. It has been a very solid car that has given me very few problems. I have had to replace a few parts on the car (breaks, chair interior, suspension) and have had occasional issues with the A/C and radio system, but problems like this are to be expected with a 15 year old car. Aside from this, as long as I have kept up with regular maintenance, the car runs very smoothly at 160,000 miles. My issues with this car are more from how it compares with newer Hyundai models. This car has aged well, but definitely has no bells and whistles. Once, I tried to use an audio port for my iPod that uses the tape cassette deck to play music, and it broke within a week or so. I ultimately had to take it to the shop and get the whole display taken out. I have also learned over the years that replacement parts for this car tend to be expensive, because they are now uncommon. One thing I love about this car is the roominess in the main part of the car and the trunk. I literally have several aspects of my life stuffed into the trunk of my car (bulk toilet paper, chaffing racks, several large boxes) and I still manage to find room. In the main section of the car, even my tall friends are comfortable, which cannot be said about the more compact cars of today.
