A good, solid, dependable vehicle.

Overall incredibly reliable and a fun ride; a dated interface is the only drawback.
The Hyundai Tucson is a step-up from every other make and model of car I have owned. It is my first Hyundai, but I am already a loyalist. From the outside, this vehicle appears smaller than most SUVs, not quite SUV and not quite sedan, but in actuality the inside is comfortable and roomy, easily accommodating 5-6 people (along with a generous amount of trunk space: not quite big enough to fit an adult bicycle but the vertical space along with the depth make so much else possible). The backseats fold down for even more storage. The interior is very comfortable, all easily adjustable, with space for everything you need. On the performance end of things, there are sensors for everything and for several years I have yet to experience an issue with them malfunctioning, which seems rare. My Tucson is a champ, whether I baby it or wait until the very last minute between oil changes. It is easy to control because of the size, and the visibility is almost perfect. Of the two issues I have with this vehicle, one is that the windshield and side windows are split in just such a way that it is sometimes difficult to see traffic during turns unless you sit up and double-take. My other issue is with the interface of the GPS/Bluetooth/Radio settings. The GPS is great, if a little clunky when it comes to finer details. The radio allows for a lot of favorite channels and you can switch modes via the steering wheel controls! Unfortunately, the Bluetooth is the biggest bummer with the interface. I have to manually connect every time I turn off the vehicle and turn it back on, but there is the rare opportunity where it auto-connects, which just makes it harder to accept the 98% of the times it doesn't. Pairing different devices has way more steps than you would anticipate. The interface does allow for everything you could need, the problem being that finding those features is time-consuming and unrealistic for anyone that doesn't typically have a good co-pilot.
