2011 Nissan LEAF, A Breath of Fresh Air
In 2011, Nissan took a bold step and launched the LEAF. It was a true electric vehicle. It had no engine, only batteries. It could go, in the real world, approximately 70 miles without needing to recharge. It was a car that I had to have! There is much talk about "range anxiety." But with just a bit of planning (and almost five years later), there has been no problems with running out of battery power. One detail that most won't appreciate, until they drive an EV, is how quiet the car is, and how wonderful this makes it to drive. The overall appearance of the car is designed with wind reduction in mind, but it turned out to be a distinctive, good looking vehicle. It has excellent power, a very good build quality, and I've been very happy with the Nissan LEAF.

Excellent for its use
The 2011 Nissan Leaf is the perfect city car. It is smooth and silent. There is no engine to make noise and it is the perfect stress reliever after a long day at work. The fit and finish are top notch as well and the seats are the most comfortable I've ever sat in. The only real drawback is the lack of range and battery degradation.
