2005 Subaru Forester - Very Happy
When I first got my Subaru Forester, I was already a fan of Subaru. But owning one and being able to take it on trails, and use it for an every day commuter made me love it even more. I can use the car for whatever I want, and in any condition and to me that is a huge plus.
Historia
I took my girlfriend on a trail in this car and we both enjoyed the experience very thoroughly. It is a great car for any type of trails and muddy/ snowy weather.
A Favor
My favorite thing about the vehicle is the fact that is an all purpose, do whatever you need type of car. The all wheel drive is fantastic. It is a very comfortable car to be in, for up to five people. It holds all of my fishing stuff and bikes. It has a massive sun roof for pretty, starry nights.
En Contra
It is only a 2005 model but it a has 170000 miles. That kind of sucks because things have a higher chance of breaking. I haven't had any problems, and I hope it stays that way for a few more years.
2005 Subaru Forester - I would buy this car over and over again for the rest of my life.
I bought this Subaru from my brother had owned it for five years, and I knew that he had taken very consistent care of it. He had the oil changed on time and always fixed repairs promptly. I had to use this car for work, and I drove so much everyday—it added up to over 3,000 miles every month. After driving through snowy winter weather in Upstate New York, I could not believe how safe I consistently driving this car. Also, the back of the car held so much! I was able to spontaneously load up a dresser in the back easily. Also, the aspect that the seats folded up and down was great, and I could sleep comfortably in the back. Traveling for fun became a great thing to do with this car, due to that aspect.
Historia
I just remember driving through snowy conditions that were so crazy when I was getting used to my new job in Upstate New York. I kind of developed an emotional relationship to the car, because it made me feel safe. While getting used to the most high pressure job I have had up to that point in my life, it was so nice to not have to worry about my car.
A Favor
The top positive things about this car were that it handled really well in bad weather. It also was great going up and down hills. I loved that it was standard car and that I could control the driving more due to this. It held a lot in the back space. It was adaptable since the seats went up and down. It was also super comfortable and had great visibility.
En Contra
I did not have a lot of complaints about this car in general, although it had developed rusty areas after five years of usage. Also, it could have had better gas mileage. I also would have preferred a partially electric car, if I had a choice.
