2006 Subaru Forester - I love my Subaru
Before I bought my first Forester, I drove my son's Subaru when he was moving and borrowed my truck when we switched cars. I fell in love with the handling and how the car drove, so I did some research with consumers reports about Subarus and found out the are pretty much one of the best cars to own.
I bought this car because the previous Forester I owned was totaled in a terrible car accident, that was the other drivers fault. My friend would have been killed if it weren't for my car saving her life.
I have owned my car for 9 years and have only had to change the oil, replace my brake pads and buy tires.
I have no complaints and love my car.

I was working at an office situated at the bottom of a very steep hill, as I live in Seattle. It happened to snow lightly that day and I took off of work out of my office to go up to the Admiral district to buy lunch. Since there was still snow on the streets it was pretty slick.

2006 Subaru Forester - Nice Features but Lackluster Ride
My Forester upholds the Subaru reputation of being a well-constructed machine. It has a fairly spacious interior with a great deal of functionality. It's a perfect vehicle for taking to the mountains since it has all-wheel drive and with one of the back seats folded down, it can hold snowboards and skis.
Historia
My friends and I worked at a one day carnival gig at the coast (about an hour from where I live), which we learned of using Craigslist. We drove the Forester through the winding forest road that took us the coast, and had fun being carnies for a day. The Forester was like our clown car that we all jumped into.
A Favor
Well-constructed machine
Fairly spacious interior
Offers a great deal of functionality
All-wheel drive
Fold-down back seats
Good for going to mountains, storing ski gear
A/C
Heated front seats
Cruise control
Six disc CD player
Sunroof
En Contra
The CD player has no auxiliary cable or Bluetooth support for smartphones. There is a fair amount of road noise when driving, especially at higher speeds, and an obnoxious rattling noise coming from part of one of the rear seat belts about 90% of the time. The ECU is not good - the automatic transmission does not respond well when fast acceleration is needed and does not downshift properly when driving uphill.
