2011 Honda Accord OWNER RATINGS & REVIEWS

I enjoy that it has good mileage and it only takes about $30 on average to fill the tank. It is very reliable and doesn't break down often. It is very spacious despite being a smaller car. I don't like that the car is prone to misalignment on bumpy roads and I've gotten a few flat tires on it as well. It is more susceptible to road damage than an SUV is.

My girlfriend's 2011 Honda Accord
I've driven Mustang, Ford, Hyundai, and a variety of foreign/American-made vehicles (both manual and automatic) in my life, and I'm still partial to Honda. Currently share a Honda Accord 2011 with my live-in girlfriend and use it every day. She just bought it about a year ago with 20k miles used but functions like brand new. I made sure she got a car that was very easy to use since she has been in about three crashes in the past two years, and this is still my top choice in terms of user-friendliness. Acceleration is smooth and responsive as are the brakes. She drove down here to Texas from Minnesota, against my wishes, but surprised me when she came knocking on my door. Apparently, she wanted it to be a surprise and drove down here at the height of winter, and I was very upset, but she told me the anti-lock brakes saved her from spinning out a couple of times on black ice. We both make payments on the car and use it for our jobs (we work in corporate jobs having to drive at least 80 miles per day). Exterior is aerodynamic, sleek, and sexy in addition to the beastlike fuel efficiency; we only spend about 20-30 bucks a week on this Accord, alternating it with my Civic. I am extremely satisfied overall.

Best old Honda ever!
I have owned Hondas in the past, my first car was an Accord (1992). So when I needed to purchase a reliable car, I went back to the Accord. How times have changed. The first thing I noticed is the build quality has gone down hill (cheap plastics, rattles in strange places etc.).
I had to replace my "battery" at 15K miles (what they consider a battery) and have just replaced the rear brake pads and rotors at 29K miles.
To me, it seems like Honda has started cheaping out.
This will be my last Honda, until they start putting some quality back into their vehicles. It is plenty fast and handles well despite what some magazines say. Yes it is a little big but it drives small. The VCM and grade logic are good features but can get annoying if you don't know how to manipulate them. Ours is white and it stays cool in the heat. The AC is great and so is the sunroof. I wish there was a back-up camera and Bluetooth but they aren't really needed as the visibility is great and you shouldn't be on the phone while driving anyways.
