This is been a great car for my small family of four. We often go high 20s/low 30s mpg around town! It's more like mid 30s on the highway. I was absolutely ecstatic when I saw that gas mileage. For the price, this is a great sedan that you definitely couldn't go wrong in purchasing.
Story
We've taken a ton of short car trips around town to enjoy the local scene. We always enjoy driving into downtown and stopping at the food carts to get some grub!
Pros
On top of the gas mileage, I couldn't ignore the amount of room there is in the car. I'm over 6 ft tall and am all legs, so pretty much every sedan I tested out was way to cramped, but I could not believe how much leg room I had no matter what seat I was in! Another great feature is the amount of cargo space there is. We've taken multiple car trips and have fit a TON of stuff in the trunk plus more room at the foot of ours two girls (in car seats) in the back seat.
Cons
One complaint I have about the car is the width of the trunk. The trunk itself is quite roomy, but the width of the opening is pretty narrow and has made it difficult to fit some items through the opening even though they would easily fit in the trunk itself. The other con is that the back seats fold down only as a full bench, which means you if anything needs to come through the back seat from the trunk then you can't have anyone seated in the back seats.

2014 Honda Accord - I believe the car is very spacious, gives good mileage and is very efficient for long trips.

The car is spacious big enough to accommodate five people. I have compared this car with many other luxurious cars and to be honest this has been the best investment for me so far. ItÕs a car that does not require a lot of maintenance but a lot of attention. Easy to clean at any point of time. The suspension of the car on bouncy roads is pretty neat, and also allows it to confidently tackle twists and turns with precision while maintaining a smooth ride. This car has helped me move a lot of stuff from one apartment to another. I find the leg space is very comfortable since my fiancŽ and I are quite tall. I have made a lot trip from Orlando to Texas and Texas to Orlando, this car has been a great companion. It has solid performance chops thanks to responsive handling and energetic engin... (more)
Story
Moving my stuff from my old apartment to my new one. This car has been my best friend.
Pros
I like how it provides a good gas mileage within the city and on highways. I like going on long road trips and this car has been very efficient, comfortable and fun to drive. I love that I do not have leather seats. Since I wear shorts move of the time, leather seats and non-tinted windows in summer would cause me excruciating pain on bare skin when I would sit.
Cons
I do not have tinted windows, so I feel very conscious when cars or people passing nearby can see inside. I do not feel very private. The fact that my car is black in color, it feel in summer it gets more hot inside than it should. And in winter it gets colder than usual inside. I wish I could set a memory for seat settings since my fiancŽ also drives once in a while and he tends to forget to change the settings back to mine whenever he gets out.

2014 Honda Accord ReportCard Review

Autolist ReportCard Score: 77/100

Pros:

  • Spacious and luxurious interior
  • Refined CVT
  • Top-notch fuel economy
  • Superior display graphics

Cons:

  • Busy interior
  • Clunky infotainment unit
  • Engine noise issues
  • Hybrid option is pricey

Review Summary:

The 2014 Honda Accord is a standout in its field, driving more like a compact than a sedan and outmaneuvering its Camry and Mazda 6 competitors.

Pricing is a bit higher for both the gas engine Accord and its hybrid counterpart, but it offers great value with a comfortable, roomy interior and excellent fuel economy.

Its sophisticated feel and smooth engine performance make the Accord a joy to drive, overshadowing some minor issues, like a busy interior and somewhat outdated infotainment center.
