Overall I love this car. It drives smooth and quiet on the highway. Has plenty of get up and go for the on-ramp. The car looks great, has great lines and always turns heads. Gas mileage isn't terrible for a v6 sport coupe. Handling in the corners is a dream. I really enjoy the automatic with the optional bump shifter, for when your feeling sporty.
Story
I took my wife to Skyline Drive in Virginia for our wedding anniversary. We had a great time driving through the mountains and seeing the sights. Had one of the best looking cars there and got a lot of compliments along the way.
Pros
Leather interior is nice and comfortable and controls are easy to figure out. The car just looks great turns a lot of heads and gets tons of compliments. Throttle is very responsive and shifts nice and smoothly. Exhaust note sounds great, sporty but not obnoxious. Optional built in navigation is really nice and easy. Lots of storage space in the glove box and console compared to some other sport coupes.
Cons
The 6 disc cd changer didn't work well for me and I had to swap it out. Headlight bulb replacement isn't a easy task on this vehicle. The factory wheels that I got on the base model were ugly in my opinion, I swapped these out. Not a lot of leg room in the back for passengers, although it is a sport coupe. The doors have a ghost in them that will close the door on your leg if you aren't paying attention.

While we've made great progress in terms of technological advancements in vehicles, the price of said vehicles continue to those of you in the market for a somewhat modern car for a fraction of the new car price, the 2004 Infiniti G35 is for you. While it doesn't have the fancy dashboard computer or Bluetooth capabilities, it does deliver on reliability and performance. For those of you who enjoy talking hands free on your phone while driving, don't fret. You can always buy a cd/cassette adapter to plug into your phone. It works just as great as wireless Bluetooth. In addition, you can also listen to your favorite tunes that are stored in your phone. And if you reside in an area that suffers harsh winters, the heated leather seats will help fight the chill. Even though there's no bu... (more)
Story
After a miserable winter, running the heat every second I was in the vehicle, on the first warm spring day we had, I rolled all the windows down, opened the sunroof and cruised around for an hour just enjoying the moment and new season!
Pros
The vehicle offers plenty of comfortable space for long trips or a short trip to the grocery store. There's also plenty of compartments to store your belongings.
Cons
No fancy electronic dashboard components like in new vehicles (Bluetooth, GPS, etc.)

The 2006 Infiniti G35 sedan is a remarkable automobile. The front midship engine layout provides near perfect 50/50 weight distribution that results in ultimate handling, neutral feel and confidence. Throw in the fact that the car is built on the same platform as the Nissan 350z and you have the heart and underpinnings of a true Japanese sports car, except with 4 doors. The curvy front end is sexy and elegant and provides more of the sports car feel to the overall package. The engine is torquey and responsive and gets good fuel mileage. I have personally gotten 21 miles per gallon with a combination of spirited and economical driving. The car runs on 87 octane which is nice, but is recommended for 91 and up octane for even better performance. The interior is fully appointed in l... (more)

Love the confidence this vehicle inspires in my driving. You can push the vehicle to the limit and it handles it without issues.
Pros
Great performance Acceptable fuel economy Stylish looks Roomy Comfortable Handles like it's on rails Good visibility Traction control Vehicle stability control
Cons
Some issues with faulty fuel gauges Prone to cam and crank sensor failures (easy to fix) Exhaust system can rust easily Poor design on license plate fasteners No way to disable traction control completely
