The vehicle that I drive is a 2004 Infiniti G35X. This car is a four door sedan that is loaded with options such as multi disk CD changer, option for satellite radio, power seats, moonroof, and leather seats just to name a few. This car is a good buy if you are on a budget but still want to get the feel of luxury. The body of the car has a rounded finish as opposed to the previous Infiniti's that had a boxy appearance. The sound system is pretty good and so is the drive train. The car has good control when driving also. Turnoffs about this particular car is that the gas mileage is pretty bad. You will be lucky if you get 12-13 mpg while city driving. It takes quite a bit to fill up the gas tank too. This particular car takes a while to accelerate to higher speeds but I guess Infiniti h... Story
I'm the type of person that don't read car manuals because I tend to figure things out on my own. There are buttons and levers in the car that I have never used or even know what they do. One year my key fob didn't work for opening the trunk and I began to freak out. I went to the trunk and noticed that it did not have a keyhole at all. "Alright.....What to do next" is what I was thinking. If ... (more)
Pros
Some positive things about this vehicle is that the price is affordable to someone that is on a budget but wants to ride around in style. For a 2004 G35X at a dealership you can look at paying around $10,000 or less. The appearance of the body style is like that of a higher priced luxury sedan. Many people would not believe that this sedan is as old as it is so that's a huge plus. This car even has HID Zenon headlights so that adds to the pros of the appearance also. The leather seats are soft and very comfortable. The car turns corners very good, even with short notice. Another good optio... (more)
Cons
A negative things about this car is the horrible gas mileage. When I bought this car I never paid any mind to researching things about this car. Every time I turn around this car needs gas. As stated above, this is a good car if you are a budget shopper but be prepared to dish out cash to keep this thing driving on the road. Another con with this car is that when I purchased it a few years ago I was notified by the Infiniti dealership that the airbags had a recall on them so they needed to be replaced. To replace the airbags took a few hours to fix but I was happy that they notified me of ... (more)

2004 Infiniti G35 - My car has held up through the toughest weather conditions. I was able to make it home on ice by switching the gears. During the summer the car is very stylish with a sporty side to it even with it being a family car you can still have style. I have room

I love the fact the car is very stylish while being a family car. The seats move to numerous ways of comfort for my tall family members and short ones as well. I like the fact of the moon roof I can adjust to my liking either opened all the way or just have a little breeze to come through. The spacious trunk allows me to handle all shopping needs from groceries to clothing and hide in the trunk. Even being an older modeled car it still turns heads. I wish the sunroof had a screen where I could have the option of opening all the way but not have to worry about bugs coming in. The car is not one that any Mechanic can work on it has to go back to the master. I wish the dashboard clock was more visible so many times people has asked what time is it not noticing the clock. I wish the seats ... (more)
Story
I had to drive home in an ice storm. Switching the gears helped me make it home I watched cars being stranded on the side of the road and I was able to make it home driving up heels and curves, but I will not do that again I made it home but had to pay for internal repairs of the car, the price I had to pay to make it home.
Pros
I like the slip note. The car notifies you of slippery conditions. I like the quality of the speakers pretty much surround sound. I like the lights that light up inside the car on the door helps you to see what is at your feet or if you have dropped something at night. The spaciousness of the trunk and the room for the driver to adjust the seat for a tall person. The passenger seat is accommodating as well. The warming of the seats is a very nice gesture which helps you to be comfortable while driving or just sitting in the car. The tent is very nice on the car it's just right. This make a... (more)
Cons
The cons are the car is night an easy car to work on for a Mechanic, I have found myself having to go back to the dealer, Mechanics have shared that it requires some time to work on due to the car being an Infiniti. I'm not sure if it's just my car but I noticed the way the trunk is made on the sides collects allot of leaves being that I am surrounding by trees the way the back is made it collects a lot of debris. The clock is not very visible for ones to notice even with it sitting on the dashboard. Since the seats heat it would be nice if the cool off as well. The trunk opens from the gl... (more)
