We all love this vehicle. It is roomy yet not huge. It looks great. It gets great gas mileage. We have had very few problems with this vehicle. It is sleek and runs smooth. It is stylish and modern yet we can haul our German shepherds in it easily. It is fun to drive. There is room to comfortably seat 4 adults and have plenty of cargo room in the back still. This vehicle still has no noises or air leaks in windows, doors, etc. It does have blind spots when backing and changing lanes. You have to look carefully. I think this is due to the boxy styling of the vehicle and the dark tinted windows probably add to the blind spot issues. The car does not pick up speed really quickly but it is also not a gas guzzler. I do feel very safe in the vehicle. This has been an exception... (more)
Story
Our German Shepherds love to ride in this car. Whenever a door is opened they will jump in and just sit and wait to go for a ride. We have had many family adventures, dogs included, in this vehicle and we all always have a good time.
Pros
The looks of the vehicle are fantastic. It is roomy. Great gas mileage. Never breaks down or needs repair. The seats are comfortable. It is great for a family with animals allowing room for all. It is great for shopping due to all the cargo room. It is just a fun car to own. I feel safe for my family to take trips in this vehicle. The electric windows are nice and the electric door locks are handy if you have kids. Love the dashboard and the lights. The map lights and sunglass holder are convenient. The console area and glove compartment are roomy. This car is easy to park any... (more)
Cons
Negative things about this vehicle are going to be difficult to come up with; however, that being said we have had a few issues with the electric windows not working real well and sticking upon occasion. When it rains you cannot crack a window due to the shape of the vehicle all the water from the roof comes pouring in on you. Because of its boxy shape if the wind is really blowing hard it can cause the car to be pushed around when driving. It does have a few blind spots when you are changing lanes and backing. Again, I think this is because of the boxy shape but the fact is that I lov... (more)

1989 Jeep Wagoneer - I like Jeeps overall, and this one gets me where I want to go. However, the power steering fluid leaks and it needs some maintenance.

I like my Jeep because it handles really well on the road; I come from Pullman, WA and after I got the snow tires installed, I felt really safe driving around in the wet and in the snow. There were some issues with the electronics of the vehicle causing a slow battery drain, but that was due to the previous owner messing with it. It has an option for 2 or 4 wheel drive; I usually have it in 4 wheel drive mode. It had enough room and enough power to drive myself and all of the junk I had in my apartment from Washington to California, with no hiccups. Unfortunately the heater didn't work very well, and I had to add plug-ins to put in heating pads for my snake. Also I had to get the electrical system rigged to work the headlights and I'm still having some problems with that, as it's ... (more)
Story
When I was having the electrical issues and the tail-lights weren't coming on, I was having a hard time finding anyone who could figure it out. I had to be in Pullman one afternoon, but needed to be up in Spokane the next day, usually a forty-minute drive. Because I was worried about driving in the evening without tail-lights, I bought some emergency LED lights from the store and taped them ... (more)
Pros
It has plenty of room for my stuff; the back seats fold down so I could pack it with boxes from my apartment, plus my bicycle. It handles really well in inclement weather, given snow tires and being in four-wheel-drive. It's built like a tank, and I feel safe driving it. I like how Jeep Grand Cherokees look in general, as well.
Cons
It has some electrical problems I had to deal with, and the power steering fluid leaks. These have to do with it being an older vehicle, and the previous owner messing around with it. It is a bit of a gas guzzler for its class.

I drive a 2011 Jeep Wrangler 2 door Sahara. My Jeep has leather interior and a removable hard top. I have added a few aftermarket accessories to make the Jeep more to my liking. The majority of those accessories were in an attempt to make the Jeep more capable off road. I also attempted to do all of these things on a budget. Owning a Jeep, this is remarkably easy to do. Living in Arizona I have had multiple opportunities to take the Jeep off road. It has been a fantastic vehicle for exploring the state. The build quality of the Jeep with regards to the mechanicals seems to be very high. I get impression that it is built like a much heavier truck. The interior appointments are average. The leather is nice and durable.
Story
Girlfriend was caught in a bad snowstorm that closed down the interstate and drove the jeep through the median to get gas. Meanwhile other vehicles are stopped in weather that is getting worse.
Pros
The capability. The removable top. The solidness of the vehicle.
Cons
Interior is plastic. Has some rattles. Seems kind of expensive for a vehicle with little creature comforts. Engine is very reliable but lacks power. Transmission doesn't have enough gears for good fuel economy. (they changed engines in 2012 to more power and a 5 speed auto)
